124
Here are the highlight games that are listed for both Sunday's. 10/23: Jets @ Tennessee Carolina @ Baltimore Philadelphia @ Baltimore New England @ Miami Giants @ Arizona Indianapolis @ San Diego *** - Current SNF game, but can obviously change. 10/30: Denver @ Jets Giants @ Washington Carolina @ Green Bay Pittsburgh @ New England Chicago @ Minnesota *** - Current SNF game, but can obviously change. And when viewing these games also add in the NFL & Favre and the Madden & Favre factors. I say both have solid chances. Jets/Bills on December 14th has no chance of being anything but the 1 or 4pm game since that Sunday Night is Giants/Dallas, they'd never flex that one out. Jets/49ers and Seahwaks have no chance of making it to the 8pm slot with the way those two teams are playing and the only other game, Miami, that Sunday the 28th there is no 8pm game. Only 1pm and 4pm. Edited November 7, 2008 by
newjakecity
I think if both the Jets and Tennessee win on Sunday, this matchup has a definite chance of happening. Since they need to schedule 12 days or more in advance, this would pit one team tied for first at scheduling time (with the added Brett Favre element) vs a team that is undefeated at the time of scheduling. Keep in mind that neither has been on Sunday night this year to this point.
124
They will have to decide on Tuesday if the Tennessee game will be at 1, 4 or 8. If Ten is 9-0 and the Jets 6-3 heading to Foxboro for 1st place, I think for sure they'll move it to 8.
serphnx
Unless Manning gets injured, Colts-Chargers is a marquee matchup. Especially if both teams win out until then, they'd both be fighting for a playoff spot, with the loser pretty likely done for the season. I doubt they move it for the Jets-Titans. Also considering how bad we've been on national games, I don't want them to anyway. As for Jets-Broncos, it could happen, the problem is there are 2 other great matchups too. I'd say that one is a 33% chance of moving, especially if Kyle Orton is still injured by then. If he isn't, they might stick with it, since the last time those two teams mixed it up it was a shootout.

Brown42000
CBS and FOX also have the choice to protect a game to make sure it won't get flexed.

Aqua4ever04
Have they flexed the week 11 game or are they sticking with that mundane Dallas @ Washington game? My assumption is that they stick with it; god forbid they pull an NFC East match up. I could see the Jets, Titans game being flexed, but then again that Indianapolis, San Deigo has some intrigue and could remain. I really hope the New England @ Miami game gets flexed in week 13. I could see both Miami and New England being 6-4 so that'd be a great match up. Plus I'm making the 3,000 mile trip to Miami for that game so I'd appreciate that. aec4
If TEN and NYJ win, count on it. DEN/NYJ.. I can't see it...... unless NYJ keeps winning.

CBS will protect either NE/MIA or NYJ/TEN. The other game will move to 8pm. And expect Philly/Balt being moved to 4pm by Fox since they have the late game and their late game matchups suck
124
CBS and FOX also have the choice to protect a game to make sure it won't get flexed. They both were able to protect only 5 games throughout Weeks 11-17 at the beginning of the season. Can't change anything now. Again: THE NETWORKS PROTECTED 5 GAMES EACH throught the 7 week period of flexible schedulding at the beginning of the season and they cannot change those 5 games. 4HCrew
The most important thing you have to keep in mind if the Jets keep winning is the Favre factor. The NFL loves to get him as much exposure as possible because he gets ratings. Favre vs Cutler two gunslingers going at it... Titans vs Jets Can Favre end the streak (if they are still undefeated). I know CBS can block games but I am sure the league makes certain deals
NY JETS 29
IMO I don't see the Indy/SD game being flexed out, even with poor records.
