Jetheelz
I got a response. From what I have been told, the name of this film is "Lisa, Lisa" aka "Axe" from 1977. It was a grindhouse type film. I cannot find the exact clip like the one in this thread, but I looked it up on imdb and found a trailer for it on youtube. It looks pretty similar. See for yourself. s7DwW59ifKY

I thought it would be newer, based on the woman's hair and clothes, but that is an awful Holy Grail effect.

Jetheelz
I am watching a clip from it on youtube. The good thing about me looking up "Axe" (even though it was the wrong movie) is I want to see it now too. I love grindhouse films.

I have it in the youtube quote box but a big blank +1. I thought I would beat you to it. Dario Argento, but strangely they don't play it here on late night TV. I think it was also released in the US as "Unsane". Stars NY'ers Tony Franciosa and New Utrecht's own John Saxon. GCrVRhJdWpY
Fishooked
Cool, maybe we could make this a regular feature here....someone posts an obscure gif, and we try to guess where the hell it came from? slowmoe57
Either IFC or Sundance channel show Tenebre - I have seen it before but for the life of me I dont remember that ax scene -- it is a brutal movie though -- as are most of Argentos movies -- I know he is still alive but he has not done anything for quite some time I know the movie is also available on netflix

I own it, I just haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I guess I know what I'll be doing tonight. (After that, sickos) Also, check out John Saxon in the unintentionally hilarious "Mitchell".
