MrsTaborJet
Have you ever checked out the Police Blotter in your paper or online newspaper? Who knew there were so many delinquents and attempted sexual assaults. Jeesh.
war ensemble
I just googled mine: Lincoln Avenue: Two men were captured on surveillance tape stealing several pieces of scrap metal from the rear of a 30 Lincoln Ave. business shortly before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. Third Street: A Mount Vernon man with a license that had been suspended 10 times drove his Chrysler car through multiple "Do Not Enter" signs on Brookside Avenue and "No Thru Traffic" signs before he was stopped just before 8 p.m. Monday, police said. Richard L. Keene, 46, of 590 East Third St., was charged with misdemeanor second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a car, and ticketed, before his mother, who was in the car with him, posted $100, police said. North Avenue: After the clerk at Genesis Food Market locked up at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, he got a call from someone he recognized as a customer, who said he was locked in the store, that he had been in the men's room when the clerk left. After he returned to the 342 North Ave. store to free the man, police said it was determined that $800 had been stolen from a cash box.

The Gun Of Bavaria
The "Police Blotter" in the local newspaper is usually total B.S. and a listing of the powder puff crimes to make the news types happy. My department never releases information on the big stuff unless we need the publics information or we already have someone in custody and charged. I always laugh because when I read the one here, I can't help but saying "If they only knew what was going on". LOL.

L.S. Dylan
Cool thread! I love reading my town's blotter, but it only comes on Thursdays. Usually it's: Man A lost his wallet. The usual man arrested with warrants and drugs or whatever. Once in the blotter, was a writeup about a loose dog that was terrorizing some person's yard. I guess it's good that my town doesn't have real problems but I think they keep things hush hush. So I'll post what I find interesting when the paper comes out. 124
I check my old towns once a month and I always seem to see someone I went to High School, usually a grade or two above or below, getting busted for drugs.
