Gostkowski keeps Jets in check

The Patriot kicker is likely to have an impact on Thursday's outcome. Neither the Jets nor the Patriots are the same teams that met back in week 2. Both teams have improved and we should see a real physical game. One thing hasn't changed. Stephen Gostkowski kicked off all but one ball eight yards deep into the endzone. The Jets most exciting, and effective, offensive play is a Leon kick return. The field position he provides adds points to our total every week. Their fn' kicker takes it away from us!

JETS won 47-3 with really no good returns at all.

Try again.

The Jets are probably not going to score 27 points on Thursday. The Patriots front seven is just a little better (sarcasm) than the Rams. I can't believe you don't see the importance of field position in a game like that.

Even with Adelius Thomas out? Wow I'm impressed. :P

It has everything to do with you trying to distance yourself from your Chad love. When all else fails, blame the coaching staff. Pathetic.

Meh no complaints this week except playing Favre too long.... but who knows if he WANTED to play Favre that long...

There has been OBVIOUS coaching deficiencies on both sides of the ball for the last season and a half... through it all I have hoped and said I will be the first to jump back on the wagon if they get their **** together...

You seem to need a reason to be pissy at me... I defend Chad when he sucked... you complain... I call out the coaches for sucking... you complain...

Sorry I will sit here and not say whats on my mind... didnt mean to get you all pissy :)

4-3 with Wright or Green added to the line. 3-4 with Mayo/Vrabel outside, Guyton/Bruschi inside. Either of those options is still a top unit when you add in three other monster DL.

The real pain will be depth and trying to keep guys fresh. Hopefully the offense can string together some long drives.

How did the Jets win so big? Didn't you tell all of us that the coaching sucked?

Well, you're supposed to do that to the 2nd worst team in the league. The problem is when you get blown out on Monday night and you lose an obviously winnable game against Oakland. We wouldnt be in the position we're in right now. There's no doubt in my mind that this team should be 7-2 right now. The Chargers and Pats loss I can cope with, thought I believe the Chargers game and the second half of the Carninals game mixed in with the overtime Oakland game had showed some real brain dead decisions by our coaching core.

7-2 in a division that has the Pats, and a re-emerging Bills/Fins could be the difference between winning your division down the stretch or not even making the playoffs with a starting 6-3 record.

I can care less what the NFL says. We're in one of the toughest divisions in football.
