#90
Gee, what a suprise? NFL rescinds fine against Moss for comments after Nov. 2 loss The NFL has rescinded a $20,000 fine it had levied against New England Patriots receiver Randy Moss for comments made on officiating after a Nov. 2 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. After the loss to Indianapolis, Moss was quoted as saying: "A lot of guys are really down because we let a game like this slip. But when things happen, you have to watch what you say. Guys don't want to get fined. But there was some real iffy calls out there. "Some of the things you wish wouldn't happen. But good calls and bad calls are part of the game. You've got to live with that one, the good and the bad." QUESTION RESCIND: WHY????????? HMMMMMMMMMM!
newjakecity
How much would you bet that if Pacman Jones was a Patriot, he never would have been suspended? Who am I kidding? If he was a Patriot, Kraft's money would ensure that he never would have gotten caught for his discretions.
SoFlaJets
Eric Smith gets fined AND suspended while Vince Wilfat goes to NY to talk with Goodell with his wife and gets the whole thing resolved in his favor-this is the a guy who......well you guys know

The problem is when players from any other team in the NFL makes similar comments about the officiating (as has been evidenced in the past), they are fined and it is not rescinded. Mike Holgrem lambasted the Refs after his SuperBowl and nothing happened. And, there are other instances where players have been critical of the officiating and no fines were levied. Gainzo
Nope Thank you for being the voice of reason in this thread. I think people like #90, villain & others let their blind hatred for the Patriots cloud their judgment on this. For those thinking the Pats are loved at NFL Headquarters in New York City! below is a list of fines this season: Vince Wilfork: $35,000 David Thomas: $7,500 BenJarvus Green-Ellis: $5,

Thai Jet
Take a step back and read what Randy said. Does that really warrant a $20K fine? Our point is that in other cases it DID result in a fine.
nycdan
What do we care if they fine Moss or not. He's still playing on the field. The lack of action against Wilfork was more disturbing to me but a good happy ending from the missus behind the desk will sometimes work wonders. Life goes on. The game is the only thing that matters right now.
