The board has been on fire since Sunday afternoon with claims off a Jets arse kicking on Thursday night. If the Pats win, this place will be a mess on Friday. Gainzo
It wouldn't. How long have you been aware of this team? If I had the time I could produce numerous posts from Jets fans over the last couple of days where they say this in the biggest game in a decade. If the Pats win this game they will have the tiebreaker advantage if the Pats & Jets end up tied for the AFCE.

I was disagreeing with Mr Dancing on the Ceiling about his claim that a Jets loss wouldn't be in the top 10 of disappointing losses. i am only 32 so i can't go back all that far, but here are 10 easily more disappointing then this game. 1. 98 afc championship 2. 86 loss @ browns - gastineau game 3. 81 afc championship (i am too young to remember) 4. 04 playoff loss to steelers 5. 02 playoff loss @ raiders 6. 2006 playoff loss @ NE 7. 1999 opening day vs. NE (vinny's achiles ended the season) 8. 2000 loss to balt last game of the season 9. 1997 jets vs Det last week of the season (leon johnson pass) 10. 2002 jets vs bears - wayne c fumble on the 2 min drive (jets made playoffs anyways, but at the time this game was a killer)
4HCrew
For the first time in a while the Jets and their fans have confidence going into this game not "hope". If they lose it will be a mess on Friday but then of course the Jets will bounce back and beat the Titans and order will be restored. As for top 10 losses, geez that list is so long already it would just blend in
Garb
This thread deserves a lock. Are you seriously laughing at suicide? I'd hate to stoop down to your level. Whaaa??? Look at the Jets fans being all serious That post was hyperbole at best - it's a joke. What moron is going to committ suicide over a football game? No one. Well, I would hope so. I will say though - that although being pumped is very cool and shows your passion as a fan (I'm excited for Troy Brown nite too! ) - posts like his are - well, creepy. Priorities, my man, priorities. Being a sports fan is a lovely diversion from everyday life....the toy department, if you will. But seriously, putting so much emphasis on a game is well - scary. Good thing he's not a Pats fan. He would be dead by now. He would have offed himself after the Superbowl.

Ok, and if that happens, the Jets could still make the playoffs, and still win the Super Bowl. So, it's not the end of the world. People are fired up about this game, that's all. Maybe it's amazing you can committ that much time to it? Amazing that you can get through it without no-doze and a six pack of mountain dew? btw kid, don't fall into that adult trap too early. What trap? Jumping to conclusions, making assumptions and thinking you're always right. Just use me as an example everytime you think of making THAT mistake again. In other words: don;t be like me. Wait a second! I don't think I'm always right; I did admit to being wrong by jumping to conclusions. The book has taken me so long because I've been reading it to compliment my schoolwork and other books. Like during the time I've been reading War and Peace I've also read everything by George Orwell, and a bunch of other things. I like reading two at a time, sort of like one long distance and one sprint reading. By the way, I already know I don't want to be like you. GreenReaper
This kind of stuff is just another indication of that SOJ virus that has infected this team and fans since the days of Joe Willie. Favre, Faneca, D'Woody, they are immune to this virus, they've got Supe rings to ward off the infection. Favre does special exercises to assure that the virus doesn't invade his psyche too. By pinch-slapping fannies and calling out teamates as wussies for half hearted blocks. These guys aren't terrified of the Pats. Ty Law wasn't terrified of the Pats either, he decided to join the Jets, and play with the wussies. Cause he knows SOJ wont infect him either, he's got the Ring too. So if Jets players and fans want to seek the cure of the SOJ sickness, go get the Ring. Cheer and root for the Jets and their quest for the Lombardi Trophy. Stop living in past SOJ misery. Go for the Ring. Go Jets Go. J...E...T...S....JETS!...JETS!!...JETS!!!
Fishooked
People are just looking at this game as a way to validate the Favre move. Some believe that if a future HOF QB can't do it Thursday, then no one can, and we'll be cursed forever. The season isn't over if we dont win Thursday, but it sure would give them a hell of a boost if they do. If they don't then the season has an entirely different feel to it. my .
