Jetkid94
on espn they had a report about the game and the rivalry and all that stuff. and rachel nichols said that favre told her the big difference of the move was going from the nfc north where the 4-3 defense is popular while the afc east has the 3-4 defense popular. she went on to say that he said that he has guessed wrong against 3-4 defenses due to the lack of playing it often, but he did tell her that he now finally feels like an "AFC" guy. I would say this is a positive considering he admits making wrong guesses in past games which is due to some of his 12 INTS. but he has never said he feels confortable and now he is saying he feels like hes an AFC QB. also what i noticed is against buffalo an afc east 3-4 defense, he managed the game well and only made one mistake. That shows his improvement from past games against 3-4 defenses. maybe just maybe favre has hit his afc stride, and now knows what guesses in throws will be wrong and what will make sense against 3-4 defenses. I think Favre will back this up thursday night.

I would say 90% of his INT's had nothing to do with a 3-4 or 4-3 alignment and more about him throwing the ball up for grabs for no apparent reason. flgreen
Man I hope your right, I think this game will be won or lost by Favre.. I agree This is the game we find out if signing Favre was an act of genius, or another titanic Jets screw up. I honestly think that the Jets are a better football team then the pats right now. I also think Farve, being Favre, is going to try to put his stamp on it. The pats are going to come after him, and try to force him into mistakes. I don't think this is going to be a close game. If Favre is hot, Jets win big. If he isn't................................................
Jetkid94
The pats didnt have a good pass rush, and now they lose one of their sack leaders. jets OL hasnt let Favre get touched the last 2 weeks. all of this equals favre having the time he needs. Pats weak secondary+the time for favre= a good night for brett.
s dubb
The Bills run a 4-3 defense.
joewilly
i'd say the pats run the 3-4 as well as any team in the league. they are the best at confusing a qb. it is important for us to get the run going & quick slants etc. to keep their d off balance

I have to say it's a weird feeling. With Chad, I'd just feel hopeless and anything positive that happened was a pleasant surprise. With Favre I'm optimistic in the sense that I know he's capable, but unnerved at the thought of him imploding
