The Jets are like a bad boyfriend.

Hate to be Debbie Downer, but this has been on my mind.

The Jets are having a great season so far. HOWEVER, it's not that hard to beat the teams that we have beaten.

Favre has been in a little slump lately. And, I think the Patriots are smart enough to figure out what has been

working for us: Thomas Jones.

They're going to stop him. The Patriots are not a stupid team. They're the Einstein's of the NFL.

Unless if Favre has an amazing game, we're going to lose, and we're going to lose badly. Most people think that

we're going to win this game. I'm afraid to even think that because I think that this team is just going to let me

down, AS USUAL.

The Jets are like a bad boyfriend..and I'm one of those dumb bitches that keeps running back. We fight, he never

comes through for me.. always letting me down, he hardly ever finishes and he mentally abuses me, week in and

week out. And yet, I still keep coming back for more. Why? Because I love him.

Sounds corny, I know. But that's how I feel.

Will the Jets become a "good boyfriend" tonight and not let me down? God, I hope so. The past has made me

believe that they won't though. :(

Hey baby I hear what you are saying. But things are going to be different this time. That girl meant nothing to me. I was just getting it out of my system. It was a stupid move but I got scared when I saw your perfection. I didn't think I was ready but now I know I am ready.

You are the one for me. Let's just work past this and get back to being us. I know it will take time but I hope you can forgive me. It will be different this time I promise.

This is actually a good thread because (and she was the Debbie Downer first so I didn't start the negativity) if the Jets lose the next 2 they are 6 and 5. UGH.

That makes me want to puke. Cmon Jets please call us. We know you love us. We can forgive you. We need you to want to be forgiven.

Beating the Bills at home is not easy.

The Cards are 6-3.

Favre has 16 Tds 6 wins (should be 7 if not for chris baker) and we are the highest scoring team in the leauge.

We are more talented. We NEED to win.

The Bills were a fluke team.

The Cardinals were coming back in the end...(see FINISH HIM! thread)

I hate the woulda shoulda coulda argument. We lost and it should not have come down to Chris Baker.

We're going to lose.

And if the Pats focus solely on the run, and make Favre beat them... he will. He's been mistake prone, but still playing fairly well.

Our offensive deficiencies have come when we've passed when we should be running. Not so much when we've had to pass.

Ah, look at this.....a little reverse psychology for the soul. You don't fool me one bit, Babe. Take a look at the Pats injury report and tell me, truthfully, you don't think it should be an easy Jets victory. Don't be like a bad boyfriend - bad boyfriends lie. :)

I dont agree with your post.

There is going to be a monsoon in NEw England tonight, and the JETS running back > NE's Running back/Litigator.

The JETs will win this game.

If it is indeed a monsoon (lucky me :( ) - the game will be decided on turnovers. Bank on that.

I just hope the Oline holds up, Richard Seymour ( he's such a hottie) scares the hell out of me.

Bring an umbrella, or one of those full body plastic rain coats.

Ugh....I'm seriously contemplating standing behind the handicapped section - which is under cover.

I think the Pats will start out in the 4-3. I really do. The strength is the d-line. If I were the Jets HC (ooops....I just vomited in my mouth) I'd come out and dink and dunk and dink and dunk on the 4-3.
