A few weeks ago I was pretty vocal on how bad the Jets were and how I thought they would go into the tank after the Oakland game. Even before that I ripped them for taking Keller. Well, I'm here to admit I was wrong about that.

Keller looked like a monster last night, and the Jets sacked up and beat New England. Quite honestly, after 45 years of having my heart ripped out repeatedly, I didn't know how to react. I don't know if they're ready to be a dominant team, but they are sure better than I implied 3-4 weeks ago.

Being pessimistic about the Jets is a hard habit to break. I think it involves a 36 step program, and I'm only on step 5 now.

Nice post. It takes awhile with a new QB and basically 40m % new O line for things to gel. Keller's a rookie too don't forget. Looks like we're on the right track.

Have some confidence in Mangini and Tannenbaum..They will be an fantastic combination for years to come..Hey.Noll for 12-30 his first 3 years in the NFL but the Rooney family was patient..that sort of paid off. How bad was Belichick in Cleveland?..very bad.. but the Krafts saw something and took a shot..How did that work out..(not so good last night)..hahaha.. had to do it. Mangini is not Herm or Kotite or Coselet..everyone here knows that and he has the potential to be a great coach in the NFL..I swear... look ahead Jet fans, Eric and Mike had nothing to do with 30-20-10 years ago..Smart,young and learning at a very fast rate..I would bet a a lot of money if those two were available last year Parcells would have snapped them up in a New York minute.
