Columbia Jet Fan
Say what you want about the defensive play calling in the second half, Casselll still made the plays...the kid has a lot of poise for someone w/ such limited game experience...he makes good decisions and can make a play on his feet when he needs to. Doesn't look like he can thow a long pass to save his life...but hes still a good player who will be a starter next year....if I were the Jets I would at least give him a good look if Favre decides to retire after this year... Also anyone whos saying it was us playing soft or the BB's plan...one question...do you see KC putting up 400 yds, 3tds and 60 rush yards? B/c I sure as hell don't... Columbia Jet Fan
He was hitting wide open WR's all day. He didn't make one hard throw. Wow...really? Not one hard throw?? You can't think of not ONE impressive throw? I'll give you a range where I thought he made a good throw...maybe between 00-02 seconds left in regulation? No? That doesn't count as impressive? Thai Jet
He had TONS of time to throw. Outside of the questionable Moss TD catch I wasn't overly impressed at all.
124
Cassel played well. I wonder who will sign him. He's a RFA so the Pats will get a draft pick for him, but a team will sign him as their starting QB.

#90
Reality check! The guy is a stiff. He made one nice throw. That's it. The Jets in that f-ing prevent defense made him look like Johnny Unitas. Where were the blitz packages? ARGH!

He looked like **** on the long passes all nite. He badly overthrew a wide open Moss for what would have been a TD.

That throw to Moss was on the run, to tie the game and Law played it awesome...F the pats and all that but give respect where its due...the kid has talent, he almost beat out Leinart at USC....I think he will be a starter in this league for a while...and be more than servicable

PFSIKH
He was hitting wide open WR's all day. He didn't make one hard throw. Do you even have an ounce of objectivity? Maybe you were asleep, but try to get a copy of the game. Goto the 4th quarter with 0:08 seconds left in the game. Then press play.

Jet Moses
I didn't like the way he kept crying to the ref's about pass interference. AWESOME! http://www.jetnation.com/forums/member.php?u=3484
Lil Bit Special
Cassel played decently last night. He made some real poor throws, and some good ones. But, I really didnt see anything that shows me he is more than just a mediocre QB with talent around him.
villain_the_foe
He was hitting wide open WR's all day. He didn't make one hard throw. Thats not true. He threw a bullet to Moss at the end of regulation. This kid seems to be a natrual. I remember when people said that brady couldnt throw the deep ball. We all seen how that turned out. But, I really didnt see anything that shows me he is more than just a mediocre QB with talent around him. BINGO! The guy can't make a third read to save his life....and he can't throw left. The left side of the field was wide open - Watson - wide open - and nadda....nothing. Gaffney on the same side - it was unbelievable. He scrambles right. He scrambles and throws right. He was driving my nuts half the game. I'll give him credit for dinking and dunking his way to 400 yards - but this guy 'aint no Brady. He will get a sweet deal with a team that is desperate for a starting QB. But I bet you that team will not have a Wes Welker or a Randy Moss. Vudu
That's what happens when you have no pass rush. Give any QB 10 -12 seconds and he will make a play. He also adds the dimension of mobility to his game as well, he's very elusive and quick. Cassel is good, he'll have a starting job in a franchise this offseason. 49ers maybe? With Randy Moss on the Field..
