Could Pennington have won that game?

No. No way does Chad have Favre's talent, swagger, or poise under pressure. I was completely impressed with Favre's decision making during our last two drives. He made several touch throws, but also, flat out, smoked other passes into tight coverages. Chad dreams of Favre's arm.

Not to mention Chad beat the Pats this year... believe we put up 38 points?

(Insert obligatory Wildcat comment here)

I find it ironic that fin fans are the only ones that can't seem to admit that the wildcat has been instrumental in most of your wins...the entire league and other fan bases have come to that conclusion.

Yes Chad would have won, he has the "eye of the tiger" burning deep inside of him.

I give the Dolphins coaching credit for using Chad in a way that takes advantage of his skills. I am very impressed with the Phins coaching, still not sold on their talent. I think the jets have a lot of talent, still not sold on their coaching.

With Chad, the Jets still jump out to a 24-6 lead, and still does nothing all 2nd half to produce points. After the Pats tie it up, Chad probably starts something, but stalls out for a FG, and the Pats have time to drive down field for the win. If the Jets still make it to overtime, the Pats bring immense pressure and he doesn't perform well.

And I was one of Chads biggest fans (still like him, just not the team he plays for)

0% chance.

A scoring drive to pull ahead late in the 4th and then a scoring drive to win it in OT. Against the Patriots of all teams. It would never happen.

No F'ing way. Why? NE plays 8 in the box and blitzes the hell out of us with Pennington at QB.

REMEMBER, Pennington didn't beat NE a few weeks ago. The F'ing WILDCAT did. They scores all their points off that.

I agree, the coaches down there have done a marvelous job taking advantage of Chad's strong point. Who wouldve thought that a QB as inept as Chad P was as a JET would be so much better with unconventional game calling? His arm doesnt look that weak as it did here either. He's been throwing some deep balls. But let's not kid ourselves, he's benefited from having two RB's that are good at the wildcat. Without that offense the Dolphins would be lost in mediocrity yet again.

There was one of those read plays where Favre zipped it outside(to LC I think) where the CB was breaking on the ball. The first thing I thought of was if that was Pennington throwing that pass it goes back the other way for 6, instead it was a nice short gain.

I dont think CP10 wins this one.

Guys, the Dolphins are 5-4...We're 7-3.

For the Phins, 5-4 is great... For most teams, 5-4 is mediocre. We'll see where they're at come playoff time. Im willing to bet the farm that they're sitting at home.

I watched every pass Favre threw last night counting the ones Chad could or would have completed sucessfully given the velocity and direction. I think the tally was 4.

Really?

Why?

I try and keep CPF as far out of mind as possible so as not to ruin my enjoyment of teh game..

Thats a good practice and one I'll use going forward. Guess I still wanted to prove out the Favre experiment conclusively in my head. I have.
