SouthernJet
Role Models is a likeable, comedy that deals with two losers who as part of a Community Service sentence have to be mentors to teens in need. Well as comedies like to do, we have the teens being more responsible than the adults. It has its moments and McLovin basically carries the movie. It will pass time but I would wait for the DVD. It stars: 'Stifflers Mom' Seann William Scott, Paul Rudd, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jane Lynch. 2 1/2 's
MrsTaborJet
I saw this the night it opened, thought it was hilarious! Seann William Scott, Paul Rudd and Jane Lynch were awesome, didn't care for Augie's storyline so much (there is no topping McLovin). Little boy Ronnie was hilarious, although wanted to wash his mouth out with soap. All-in-all, wasn't disappointed although that is typically not the kind of movie I'd see in a theater. And when the **** did ticket prices go up? Was $25 for two people!

Bergen Jet
Didn't get around to seeing it last night and I found it pretty damn funny. I thought McLovin's character was funny as hell and overall I found myself laughing more than not. It is a very good dumb comedy.

InstantClassic
and check here to see which ones are good and which ones suck http://www.metacritic.com/video/ yellow is decent...green good..avoid RED It's all about personal preference. At first glance, Max Payne and Mirrors are both in red, and those are 2 flicks I enjoyed.

Yeah, but had I listened to the general idea of the site then I wouldn't have saw movies that I liked. That's why I have never let a critic or site sway me one way or the other. It doesn't always work out, because I was told to stay away from The Love Guru..which I saw anyway. Wound up being literally the worst movie I've ever seen. Wound up being literally the worst movie I've ever seen. bad thought process unless you see every flick filmed,,I NEVER listen to 1 critic either but metacritic takes top 30 critics in country and mathmaticlaly associates a average score from thier rviews,,so yo uhave apretty good idea if bad, average or good with 30 viewpoints.. so when i go to 2 flicks a week, i have to somehow gauge if one might be a stinker..it heps ,,If I wan tto see a stinker I will wait till DVD or TV.. but for 20 bucks at flicks I use 30 minds to get a decent feel if horrid .. If you have no allegiance to a actor and its between 2 flicks that night I will favor in side of what 30 critics might think as opposed to one critic.. If nothing up I wiull then go to some stinkers,,I would say I fall in line with consensus metacritic math score about 85% of the time.. FYI..LOve Guru..one of lowest Metacritics scores in awhile..perfect example,,a few said it was OK,,2 - 21/2 stars,,but so many others said hoorid that you knew it was bad,,if you had listened to tha tonce critic form Chrietian Scc Monitir who gave 3 stars you would have been misled,,but using teh math of 30 critics you knew ..peeyoo http://www.metacritic.com/film/titles/loveguru?q=love%20guru

joewilly
I seem to be right on par with sj's views of movies. In my opinion he is spot on with any flick i've seen that he's reviewed. I really liked role models. good mindless entertaining flick 2.5 to 3 stars seems accurate.
