LionelRichie
this is the first time in since the tuna was here that the jets have respect from the national media. i can't remember the last time they were picked to win at NE and they didn't lay an egg. the big question is what are they going to do now that they the favorites? rillo
I still don't think we getting respect, I turn on sportscenter and all I hear "Cassell this" "Cassell that" "defensive holding was a bad call". Just keep winning, I can care less who these talking heads respect. GO JETS!
nyjfan
I agree. As long as the team realizes they can improve, then they will. Favre said there are still things he can improve on and I hope our pass defense and play calling become better...because that prevent defense is just downright scary. 10 days to prep for the #1 NFL team and we're looking great! Exciting times folks.

We dont have national respect. The national media looks at this as "broadway Brett", not the new york jets. Its cool. though. Once we get to the playoffs and this defense begins punching teams in the mouth while the offense calls the ambulance for'em then thats when we get the respect. 4 things we MUST do in order for this not to be a "Favrah" moment. #1. Beat Tennessee #2 Win the division #3 We are the second best team in the AFC at this moment, which means that we HAVE to make it to the AFC championship game. #4. We must win the AFC championship game. If the Jets can do that, then it cant be all about favre. The Playoffs are the best of the best....It takes a team to win !
