PS17
I don't know if anyone has talked about this yet, but Brett Favre played a completely mistake free game, no bad fumbles or picks which we have been accustomed to seeing in previous weeks to subpar teams. He made the big plays when they needed him to, every third down it seemed like Favre would get the job done. He lead crucial TD drives in the first quarter, 2nd quarter, 4th quarter and of course the game winning drive in OT. Never once was I worried that he would throw a pick, something that I haven't felt the whole year. He showed gread confidence and deciseveness RIPPING, and i mean RIPPING balls in the middle of the field to Keller (who has been amazing btw) and throwing passes to the outside as well. The one complaint I have is the lack of the deep ball. Favre went deep (25+ yards) I think only twice, and one was that monster circus catch by Cotchery. I'm just saying, Favre looked actually comfortable in the offense for the first time this year & I really think he is catching his stride and will get on a role in these upcoming weeks. Now, I want the coaching staff to release him even more and let him throw the deep ball more than once or twice a game. Anyone out there agree with me? nyjfan
Yes, I agree. In reality, he looked like he was on the Green Bay Packer team out there. He looked like he knew what was going on and how to handle it, handled pressure and made plays. That's what he looks like in GB. Except in GB there would have been 6 or 7 or so 25+ yrd throws or more. They're gettin there for sure.

Jetkid94
In GB, he had a deep threat. .... cotch is his deep threat. proved it again with that 43 yard bomb. plus the miami bomb. plus arizona.
ZachEY
cotch is his deep threat. proved it again with that 43 yard bomb. plus the miami bomb. plus arizona. Cotchery wasn't really 'open' on that play. This WR core lacks some speed, but they're doing a fair job getting it done in the intermediary routes. Hopefully the emergence of Keller will help them even more.
*62
Two weeks in a row we've seen Favre play well and with restraint. The more confortable he becomes with Mangini's vision for the offense the more the coaching staff may let him take deep shots up the field. Nice to see him lead the ig drives when they mattered most, although s first down right after the 2-minute warning would have iced the game. Good game. One of a type which we usually lose. Having luck is nice, though. I could get used to it.
Jetscode1
Favre looks more comfortable in the offense each week. He looks great throwing lasers to Keller, Coles and Cotchery. For more deep balls we need to get Clowny on the field.

Ya know...i thought the same prior to the past two games but Feely is at least making them...time to fish or cut bait one one either way though... Loved to see Clowney active this week... vinnys025
They didn't let Favre play like Favre, they made him take a sack when he was in trouble. They didn't let him sling the ball and try to make big things happen. I give Brett all the credit, he actually listened to his coach who is younger than him, on how to play the game. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. Favre just got my respect for being a very coachable player and a very smart player, even at his age. I didn't think he ever listened to anybody based on what I've seen throughout his career, and I always thought when you have Favre, you get the good with the bad. I was wrong.....thankfully. If favre can just manage the game, and sling the ball when it needs to be slung, then we have ourselves an interesting playoff run for sure. I have never like Favre but he played an excellent game on Thursday. The only "mistake" he made was on the intentional grounding play that wasn't flagged as the call on the field was that it was tipped. Kudos to Brett. If he takes you guys deep into the playoffs I will have to rethink my opinion of him.
jetophile
I liked when he threw the ball into the goal post. For real. Throw that away. I'd rather see him do that than force it into quintuplet coverage. Look how he lost the NFC Champ game. Er, I suspect that was a good thing in the end, but ya get me.
