Tiki Barber, lol

He says that Kerry is more poised than Favre. The Jets can't rattle Kerry. But the Titans can rattle Brett.

Collinsworth says the Jets win. Barber says the Titans run the table this year.

But hey what does Tiki know. He said Eli had no command of the huddle. Let's go Jets, win this one and shut them all up.

It would be nice. :love0030:

Kerry Collins doesn't get rattled? THE Kerry Collins? Gee, the Jets should have made that trade with Tennessee instead of Green Bay I guess.

I will say this about the Titans: where are all the geniuses who were calling Vince Young a "winner"? And how despite his sh*tty play, "all he does is win" and we should ignore his crappy performance and sham ROY award & Pro Bowl appearance? What a bust piece of garbage. Held back that team for two years & then quits on them. They're undefeated with Kerry freakin' Collins who it seems hadn't thrown a pass over 4 yards until week 11.

And the Jets are going to win. No doubt about it.

I think it is going to be a great game.

When the Titans played the Bears two weeks ago the Bears geared up to shutdown the Titans running game. So Collins went and beat them in the air.

Jax jumped out early, Tenn just continued to beat on them till they couldn't take it anymore.

They are a REALLY good team. A team that is incredibly physical and hard nosed. It will be really interesting to see how the Jets OL handles the Titans D-Line.

You want to see this board explode Sunday ? Just try to log on if the Jets go in there and win on Sunday. It will be insane.

tenn has one tough D for sure. we are quick enough to beat them though with quick slants & swings to leon. we still need to try to pound tj but keep it effective by keeping them off balance.

our db's got a lot of practice in the 2nd half of thursdays game. I hope we learned from it cause we edid a lot of good things defensively.

This seems to be the perfect time to share with JN the story of my idiot cousin who loves Tiki.

My cousin grew up in my family, a family that was a Jets family thanks to my Grandfather Al, the man who loved the Jets so much he once had to be restrained from beating the holy crap out of Joe Walton in a bar in Puerto Rico (but that's a story for a different time. )

My cousin became a Giants fan in January of 1987. Prior to that, he was a Jets fan like the rest of us. He was a Jets fan when the Jets started the 1986 season 10-1. He was a Jets fan when he went to the wildcard playoff game in Dec. 1986 with my family on our season tickets and cheered with me as the Jets knocked off the Chiefs and moved on to face the Browns in the divisional round.

That's right, when the Jets lost the heartbreaker to the Browns and the Giants went on to win SB 20, that's when my cousin showed his true colors - as a yellow-bellied turncoat punk.

Flash forward to this past February. I am no longer very close with my cousin but he is family and when the Giants beat the Pats I sent him a congratulatory email.

He calls me up about a week later and tells me that he quit rooting for the Giants after the 2006 season when Tiki, "the only player on the team with any class" (his words) left the team and became, you guessed it, a Pats fan, because they are a "class organization" (again, his words, not mine.)

My cousin, quite the judge of character.
