HardKoreXXX
It's nice to see Ginn finally coming into his own. He also had several key catches in the 4th quarter including that 4th and 5 at the end of the game. No one can deny he is one of the fastest guys in the league, but he still has a long way to go on his route running.

124
"Skinny Ginny" is quickly proving himself to be solid NFL reciever who has never missed a game due to being "broken". He has 38 receptions for 508 yards and 1 receiving TD this season. Take out his one spectacular game against Buffalo and you have stats that are even less impressive. Buffalo alone accounted for 7 catches for 175 yards.

Seriously, it's halfway through his second season in the league, recievers take time to develop and Ginn is right on schedule. If he ends the season with 900 yards and 3 TD's that's fine by me for a second year reciever. Besides, Ginn contributes in ways that stats don't tell. He's been making the tough catches over the middle and his hands have been solid, meaning he's not dropping passes. Just yesterday he caught a pass on 4th and 5, nothing sexy except that 1 catch basically won us the game.

Irish Jet
Moss is a good WR, I've always thought Ginn could be like him, since his Ohio State days. I still think he'll be a decent WR in the NFL. Maybe not #9 overall worthy but a good one nonetheless. He really doesn't suit Chad Pennington at all though. That's a match made in Hell to be honest. Take out his one spectacular game against Buffalo and you have stats that are even less impressive. Buffalo alone accounted for 7 catches for 175 yards. He's in his second year, those stats are far from bad. Especially like I said when his strength is his QB's weakness. The comparisons to Moss are true, that's probably why Moss was average with Pennington as well. ZachEY
Don't get me wrong. I'd love to have a guy like Ginn on the Jets right now. As a Number 1 Receiver: No. As a Top 10 Draft Pick: No. Instead of Brady Quinn: No. But, beyond those things, he'll be a good deep threat for years. In fact, Chad Henne throws a decent deep ball (his accuracy is fair at best in general) and that'll be a solid combo for years. I just don't think he's a #1 as he will get obliterated from time to time and I don't see him doing much besides slants and deep balls. What do you call the BCS CHAMPIONSHIP thing then if its not a game, and yes he did miss time becuase of an injured foot incurred while celebrating must suck have rival fans have to tell you the history of your own players because you don't have a clue

The Dolphins may regret that pick, but let's wait 'till Quinn actually does something first.

You're telling me, come draft day, you're not sitting at #9 with a big hard on cause Quinn falls into your lap if your a Fins fan? If the draft was today, despite Quinn not doing anything yet, I'd still take him over Ginn without thinking twice.

Sparano clearly stated that because Ginn was the #1 reciever that he didn't want him being used too much i.e. kickoffs and punt returns.. However by week 4 Ginn kept lobbying to be allowed to return kick offs and Sparano acquiesced and allowed him to. Since then he's taken 2 returns to the house, unfortunatley they were called back by ticky tacky holding penalties. Again, you assume that because you live in South Florida that you know everything there is about the Dolphins, but you're wrong.

124
i don't understand your blind hatred for the guy. its only his second year in the league and he is having a decent season. better than alot of other second year receivers. A decent season? He had one spectacular game and the rest of the season he has been absolute dog**** minus his reverse yesterday against Oakland. People make Ginn out to be like he's some fantastic product when he really he hasn't done jack **** but show minimal flashes of what he could be. Key words: What he could be. A second year for a receiver is usually when they break out and have those stand out seasons. I'm sorry, minus a 7 catch 175 yard performance in one game, I'm just not seeing anything from Ted Ginn Jr, the man Dan Marino said runs the worst routes he's ever seen. The guy is a bum and is NEVER going to be a #1 receiver. Being a #2 receiver is his ceiling but he'll probably end up a 3/slot receiver.
