glenn212
God....Can this man be anymore self-serving...This is something any decent NFL coach would never say..He is full denial and job protection mode. Herm needs his own forum at JN..Do it Max..do it!
jason423
Not that I care much about Herm, but why should this surprise anyone? Didn't he do the same thing when he was here in 2003 and looking for an extension? From what I recall he basically told the owner bring me good players and I'll win saying the Jets needed much more talent than what they had. #27TheDominator
So Herm takes all the credit for the team losing close games. He "put them in a position to win"? What position did he put them in when they were getting destroyed by Atlanta, Oakland, Carolina and Tennessee? Doesn't he have any coordinators to fire? ZachEY
What a tool. How the hell do the players put up with this? Honestly, it defies logic of why the players want to play for him so much. Maxman
Honestly, it defies logic of why the players want to play for him so much. As evidenced by poll after poll. The coach with no accountability... It's embarrassing. One could make that point that having no accountability is indeed being accountable. He serves as a leader with no transparency. Because he enables those underneath to understand the reality within, he empowers them. A less noble man would setup a hierarchical structure that rewarded and masked failures. Therein lies the answer to the paradox of why they flock to play for him. They strive to be a part of something bigger. An organization that has no barriers. Where greatness is not only attainable, it is the only acceptable outcome. Herm may not be the coach of the KC Chiefs next year. They just didn't have the talent to run his schemes. But have no doubt. Herm will be back with his core group of winners. He will reassemble in another city led by Jon McGraw and he will get the job done. That is the only thing he knows how to do. Winners are funny that way.

Maxman
Herm makes million$$$$ How you doing? Sperm will make more money in his lifetime than Herm does. It won't even be close. I can't go into details because Sperm doesn't want to get busted. Let's just say that Sperm makes his money in volume. I think he gets $20 for each act. At his current rate he will make....damn I can't figure it out. Anyone know how much 32 gazillion times $20 is?
