Vudu
Annoyed by the influx of Steelers games on TV EVERY WEEK? I feel like I live in freaking Pittsburgh. I understand that they are one of 'those' teams, but why are they on PrimeTime every week? I've probably seen 7 of the 10 games the Steelers played all year because they always seem to be on TV. It's a little annoying to me, give us a chance to see other teams in our division vying for Playoff position. Im sick of watching Steeler games. The Steelers have a diverse fan base that follows them- good for the ratings which is what the media are looking at. Bronzey you could always watch poker on ESPN2. talisaynon
They're such a boring team to watch. Not to mention Rooflesburger gets sacked about 20 times a game yet manages to pull it off always. I get real sick of em.
joewilly
Hey !! Put yourself in my shoes... I gotta watch 16 of those things a year !! haha, I actually don't mind steeler games cause they're usually meaningful. I get all jet games no matter what so I really don't care who else is televised. I like the steelers & they're style of play. they have been in some real fun dogfights this year

They barely score and their games all seem to be ridiculously long. Im just bored with watching them every week when Im in the mood for some football. As for Roathlisberger, he should be happy he has such a strong defense. The Steeler offense isnt that great this season.
Jbro22
I'm with ya, they're on every week and there super boring to watch even when the games are close. I'm not even saying play the Jets games, cause there historically boring as well. But god damn, play some teams we never get to see. Edit: by play the Jets I mean down here in Tampa. Obviously most of you guys get them.

Like someone else mentioned we get to watch Ben get sacked a ton but somehow always have a shot at the end to pull it out. If we can get to the playoffs that team will be as battle tested as any i can remember. I'm actually starting to enjoy these matchups more than i did earlier in the season. Jbro22
That's all I ask for. I've seen an obnoxious amount of Pittsburgh, Dallas, and Gmen games this year. Actually, I don't think I've missed a Dallas game, which is rediculous.

They arent boring to watch like the STEELERS are There has been way more Steeler games on Primetime than Cowboys games, but they too are becoming annoying. serphnx
Yeah I remember looking back and they were on pretty much every week. I think it lets up now though, by now I think they've already reached their max games allowed nationally. I don't understand why they are on so much either. They are really boring to watch, and I'm a football purist. Still, there's only so much of that you can watch, and especially for national games... Hopefully tonight is the last one, and it happens to be the sh#ttiest matchup of the year. Noone wants to watch the slumbering Bengals sans Ocho cinco and with a backup QB, and we're about sick of the Steelers. What a horrible game. A 1-8-1 team versus the most boring team in the NFL. What a snoozefest. The only thing that would make this interesting is if the Bengals beat up on the Steelers and actually win.

Irish Jet
I love Steeler games, always have. They always get involved in close defensive struggles where their immense defense makes play after play, there are times I'd rather watch those games than shootouts. Old school football babeee !! At least the games are ALWAYS competitive and the winner isn't decided til' late in the 4th. Much better than blowouts... It's because they have a big and loyal following.....'cause Gawd knows they are one of the most over-rated teams ever and Ben Rothlisberger is approaching Donovan McNabb proportions in Over-rated-dom. BTW - I hate Pittsburgh. I hate 'em so much, I would rather see the Jets win three straight than see Pittsburgh even sniff another one.

I'd rather pour battery acid on my eyes than ever follow the Steelers. That is why my second favorite scene in the Pats/Rams DVD is the part where Lawyer Milloy and Willie McGinest are waving a "terrible towel" and yelling (upon victory over the steelers to propel them to the SB) "cancel your reserrvations!" Good stuff right there.

StillerPaul
BTW just looked at the schedule and my Steelers only have two 4:15pm games left. At the Patriots and home vs the Cowboys.
