Bleedin Green
For those of you who didn't see, on Football Night in America they were talking about the Jets / Titans game and Cris Collinsworth had plenty of good things to say about this team. The most notable comments were: 1. Kris Jenkins is, in his mind, the leading candidate for Defensive Player of the Year. 2. Kris Jenkins should be in the running for League MVP. 3. The New York Jets are the best team in the AFC. Granted the Jets usually aren't one to do well with big expectations, in the past, but this isn't your same old Jets, and it is awesome to realize that everyone else can see what we see about this team and its players. Its not just those green colored glasses or over-optimism. This team really is that good. GO JETS!!!

If the Jets end up the 2nd seed, Kenkins should be Defensive Player of the Year. In that scenario, it will be interesting where the media thinks Favre fits in the picture. Warner took a step back today. If the Jets finish strong, Jenkins and Favre can be looking at some individual honors on the way to the SB Championship!!!!!!!!!!!! Jetkid94
the crazy thing is we think were very good, but we havent even locked up a playoff spot with the pats only 1 back. we could very well not even make the playoffs, but i think we will

If the Jets can run the table and Favre breaks 30 TDs (both very possible) I'd bet everything he wins MVP. Even otherwise I still think he's got a legit shot. The NE game was huge. Following that up with this has me in a complete state of euphoria. I don't want to start thinking about things like playoffs, postseason awards or God forbid, the Super Bowl, but damnit its so hard not to!!
