Jetkid94
such a tough question. favre- has played great in the last month. jenkins- has been our DPOY all season washington- his big plays have made the differences in games. Jones- talk about big games after big games, but I dont think thes been the difference in games. I honestly dont know, but theres a good chance we get a league MVP with favre, and a defensive MVP with jenkins:1st:
crackbackblock
Jenkins-Run stopper. His addition changed the play of this defense. The team knows he has the middle of the LOS.
Bleedin Green
Has to be Jenkins. Outside of 2004, the Jets have been completely incapable of stopping the run for the greater part of a decade and it has been a MAJOR reason for a number of the Jets wins. Even the games that the Jets won with big offensive performances, they were helped greatly by their opponents inability to run the ball. It was a huge part of today's victory for sure. Favre and Jones absolutely get honorable mentions though. Since the Buffalo game, both of these guys have been phenomenal.
Kleckineau
Leon is my pick, here is why. While the majority of the team is busy kickin azz with hard nosed football, Leon sneaks up with a perfect kick to the nuts and leaves them dazed and reeling. Cant argue with any of the other choices. Yeah you really can't go wrong but I was leaning between Jenkins & Leon. But then I thought about Favre and Jones...I really like having this dilemma about all of these good players though haha. *Edit: I voted for Jenkins btw...too much dominance on defense, every week the running game of the opposing team is taken away; something the Jets have never done in my lifetime. Larz
it's between jenkins and favre jenkins wins because of this ; which Jets team would be worse ? penny/ jenkins or favre/d-rob I'd vote favre/ d-rob would have a harder time winning
FFan
Was Brett Favre ... I admit, I'm biased, however ... You really can't deny the "impact" he have had on this franchise ... especially when it comes to mentality ... Just look at the Packers this season ... The Packers are "essentially" the same team that went 14-4 last season ... with ONE huge exception ... No. 4 ... There are so many "intangibles" that Favre brings to a team, and it really shows on the Jets ... The Jets' chemistry is so much more "evolved" now than it was when Favre just joined ... and this team has "Swagger" ... something the Packers lack ... Now I know that the Jets management made some HUGE moves on the FA market and all of them have also made a huge impact and deserves credit. But overall my vote goes to Favre ... and Leon Washington ... that guy is amazing !!!

serphnx
I love Jenkins, and overall, he's probably done the most. But, Favre is the guy that got us that win in Boston, and Favre has made believers out of this team. I still think the coaching is questionable, I don't think any other QB could pull off what Favre is doing. That arm is just absolutely amazing, and who knew this guy was so accurate? I would give Jenkins the NFL MVP, and Defensive MVP (yeah that's right, he takes both, even one of the crappy NBC guys said this) but for team MVP I'd give it to Favre. CTM
it's between jenkins and favre jenkins wins because of this ; which Jets team would be worse ? penny/ jenkins or favre/d-rob I'd vote favre/ d-rob would have a harder time winning It should be Clemens/Jenkins vs. Favre/Pouha... I can't answer though, but I lean towards offensive line right now..

leon21
I gotta go with my boy Leon. He has done so much for us. For example, the 61 yard running TD today
uart
there are a lot of guys contributing to this year's successes. If I have to pick one, though, it is Jenkins. He is exactly what the Jets needed in the 3-4 to make our defense respectable.
rillo
Tough question, I went Kris Jenkins because he has this defense playing outstanding, and he makes a huge impact when in the game. Its night and day. Should make a poll for Offensive and Defensive MVP IMO.
