villain_the_foe
I was able to look at the highlights of the Fins/Pats game, and though they lost I must say...Pennington is having one hell of a season out there. Kudos to Chad! It would be one hell of a playoff game if the Jets and Fins would see one another in the playoffs. Talking about re-establishing a rivalry... This football year has been awesome. He's having a great year for a team that should have one half the games that they won. KUDOS TO PENNY!

JohnnyHector
Oh my God, it never ends. I secretly long for Pennington to get caught for jaywalking, stealing cable, or some other heinous act that will make the public turn on him like they did to Michael Vick, so that I never have to hear about him again. ECURB
He will cripple your franchise as well with false hope... it will take years to pull the trigger on a real game changing QB becuase Chads good not great performance will keep everyone strung along... then like clockwork when everyone finally is just about to give up he will throw for 300 yards 2TDs and an INT in a CLOSE loss to a decent team... and everyone will say its nto his fault... JiFtheOracle
This is typical Pennington fashion. The ultimate football tease. Dolphins fans need to get used to blue balls because Pennington was that girl in high school that you could dry hump for days, but would never give you the real thing. F him and his sorry ass team. Kleckineau
Providing he never beats the Jets there is no reason not to feel good for the guy. He HAD a fine arm until 2 shoulder surgeries. He was a good Jet. Let him have some success. He deserves it. However........... Lets send him back to the operating room in December.

villain_the_foe
He is BUT there is a limit to how far he'll take you. Maybe there was a limit for us... There is only one winner at the end. Whos to say that Penny hasnt found his calling after all. He's with the most surprising team of the league and he's also with the man who drafted him and obviously still believes in him. The Jets fans/organization stopped believing a couple years ago, which is okay. Maybe the Fins was Penny's Destiny. Penny is a football player. P.S. YOU'RE WELCOME CRASHING JET. Im a HUGE Jets fan, but I am not a hater, especially to QB's that I once rooted for in the trenches. Miami is having a great season. I know what it is to be a fan of a bad team (I am a Jet fan). It just feels good to see your team against all odds do much more than expected. I can appreciate that from any fan, except those cheating ass Patsies

serphnx
I especially like the huge 4th quarter INT, that changed the game from a 38-28 shootout with the Fins going into cut it to a FG, to a 41-28 beating. Then, when he got the ball back, down by two scores, he proceeded to turn the ball over on downs, turning a once tight game into a laugher. NY JETS 29
All this thread is doing is acknowledging that Chad is having a good season with a average team if that. There is no reason to bash the guy, at all. He was a good Jet while he was here. He was unfortunate as was the team that he suffered to major shoulder surgeries, not his fault. I'm happy for him he's playing well and is displaying he is a very good QB in the NFL, still limited in what he can do as why we moved on, but still very good. Give the guy a break, sucks he plays for the dolphags, but thats the business. There is no harm in having him in a thread as he spent almost a decade here. serphnx
lol people get mad when you point out observations on Chad even when he's on another team now. That guy's got some powerful brainwashing mojo. I don't hate Chad. He is a competent NFL backup QB. Hell, he's even a good starter for the teams without legit NFL QBs, like the Dolphins. But he is no Favre, the QB on the team I root for, and the guy that replaced him.

SMC
Why do people continue to treat Chad like he's a disabled child or participating in the Special Olympics? It's ridiculous. Kudos for what? For playing for a coaching staff that is maximizing its talent? Chad is playing like he always has and is about .500 this season. Guess what? He's a career .500 QB. How people give Chad as much or more credit than Sparano & Parcells for the Fins assent to mediocrity is beyond me.
Boozer76
I still can't understand how fans of a team could care about a player who ends up with another team. Keyshawn was gone, I never gave a damn about him again. Abe, Vilma, DRob, Justin Miller, Coles, Moss, etc....I just don't care. I root for the team and the team only. Once a player is no longer on that team they are the enemy (unless of course they retire). As for Chad, we all know he is a great game manager. We also know "game manager" is a nice way to say a QB who doesn't do anything to lose games. Problem is he doesn't do anything to win games either. He never did.
