Disabled, obese allowed free extra plane seat

Top court refuses airlines' appeal of 'one-person, one-fare' ruling

Canada's two largest airlines must give disabled and morbidly obese passengers an extra free seat on domestic flights, beginning in January, after the Supreme Court refused yesterday to consider the carriers' appeal of a federal order.

The Supreme Court, by convention, gave no reason for declining to intervene in the case.

The decision ended a six-year battle by disabled travellers to secure two seats for the price of one if they need inflight attendants. Obese people can also qualify if they are too large to fit in a single seat.

As a former colossal fat ass of biblical proportions, these articles make me sick. You know what spurred me to drop weight, aside from 20 other reasons, the first time I couldn't get my fat ass in and out of a chair at Joe Louis Arena during a Red Wings game.

What's next, allowing racists to not have to sit next to people they're a bigot towards?

Where does it end?

Time to commence the revolution.

Oh and one more thing, F-CK Canada. :D

Wait a second.

I've lost track here of just who is "Special" and entitled to special rights due to their lifestyle choices.

1. Gays

2. Fat People

3. Religious Zealots

Hell, as Jets fans our entire lives, we ought to be entitled to some super special crap here.

This law was architected by the people in first class.

It was this or sending the giant armpit-lady up front...and that AIN'T happening.

You forgot ghetto and trailer park bitches with 17 children from different fathers and drug addicts.

Planes should have an area for people in wheel chairs or something, it has to be a bitch to be on a plane for them but fat people should have to buy two seats if they need them.
