124
I listened to his interview with Francessa yesterday and I was actually thinking it would be Saturday & Sunday, but I guess Sunday & Monday would work. Whoever had the Monday Night game those season ticket holders would either be missing work or leaving work early to avoid to rush hour traffic. That is going to be a Monday/Tuesday where there is no productivity in the NY business world.

Maxman
On WFAN they said the AFC would be Sunday, the NFC would be Monday. I am not sure, I guess that means the AFC was already scheduled for the Sunday night game. So they would only be moving on game in essence that way. I don't know if they could determine that already, but that would be good. I think if it comes down to it being both the Jets & Giants hosting the Conference Championship Games that they'd do a simple coin flip. I'd much rather have the game on Sunday and celebrate all day Monday.

shawn306
I guess it is alright. The AFC was supposed to have the Sunday nightgame for the AFC championship. The NFC would play in the afternoon. So it would really on effect the NFC game.
serphnx
Saturday night makes a lot more sense, since that's what they'd be doing the 2 previous weeks as well. Why suddenly change it to Monday?

I hope you are right, but a night game is going to be frigid in January
shawn306
I hope you are right, but a night game is going to be frigid in January They changed the times to where the one game would start at 3:00pm and the other game would be at like 6:30 or 7:00pm You are right though it could be really really cold. The fact the Jets would be playing a home Championship game will increase the tempature a few degrees.
