It seems to be happening right before my eyes with obvious results. the playcalling has greatly improved hasn't it? that screen to jones on the opening drive was brilliant. our 2nd half looked much improved over the pats debacle. our blitzing pkgs have lotsa room for improvement & I think we'll see it for ourselves this sunday. we do enough to win each week while we leave room for improvement but this team just keeps gettin better & better. obviously there's room to get better with db's & linebacker coverage & I actually think we will what a great year to be a jet fan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

His defense is greatly improved-maybe these guys didn't suck as bad as we thought or maybe better players make you look like a smart coach i agree 100% with regard to schott. you rarely see a coordinator willing to change a scheme based on personnel, but that is exactly what schott has done. sutton i think is almost the opposite. it seems like teams can routinely out-formation the defense to get good matchups in the passing game. i honestly believe the success on defense is largely a function of good players. our front 7 is huge and athletic and almost impossible to run against.
