Eventually the people that are backstabbers or incompetent get kicked out. It is a matter of laying low until that happens.

For myself exercising helps me to forget some of my problems/troubles in life.

I was getting a little cardiovascular workout in the park yesterday, and this guy comes walking down the path with his wife/girlfriend and every other word was "F", he was mad at somebody.

I was like, 'that used to be me'.

What do you do when you get angry? I am not talking some guy on the road cut you off angry. I mean something really personal. Something that hurts. You get screwed over really bad.

How do you react when this happens to you?

No I didn't catch my wife sleeping with the neighbor. This is more of a work related situation.

well, if it's work, go kick the dog. don't do anything dumb in this economy !!!!

my cousin is a 45 year old CFO type guy who got into a shouting match with his female (insane) boss and got canned

not a big market for 45 year old finance guys right now

if it is really eating away at you, try getting HR involved or your boss

go through the correct channels and cover your ass !

No. I should have been clear. A few things:

  • I am talking about something that just happened. 1984 was a long time ago.
  • This is something that I didn't want to give up.

:)

One of the funniest things you've said since 1984.

Immerse myself in the wisdom and teachings of the East.

What a clever way to get TNA into one shot.

Hell, every other word with me is usually an F word, and I'm a happy sort of guy. :D

One of my old jobs though (an electrical place), I had this big old microwave that was due for scrapping, and a nice big iron bar. Anytime I got pissed off, I just let the microwave have it, imagining it was the head of my boss. Nice stress reliever.

One night on the loading dock, I smashed a ****load of headlight bulbs, with a hammer. I laughed so hard, I pissed my pants. And it was cold out, too. That was the best part of working on a loading dock, you got to break **** left and right.

Remember Charlie Brown's Valentine? When he's throwing the chocolates off the bridge? "And this one's for lying! And this one's for..."

I was yelling that each time I smashed a f'ing light bulb.

angry sex is the best.

Are you at liberty to disclose what techniques or methods are employed to make them angrier than usual? I always hope my wife will display her anger towards me by "forcing me" to watch her engage in provocative acts with several of her hottest female friends. Then, she must watch as I release all of my anger with said friends. I know the potential for this situation--some would call it a frivolous fantasy--to arise is slim. But, hope burns eternal.

I'd post a sticky thread in all capital letters about why he banned you.

....Hypothetically speaking, of course.

I hear what you are saying and I appreciate it. The thing is I want this anger. I want it to fuel me into a better situation. I don't let it impact me with my family or the kids etc.

We had to take our 5 year old to the E.R. last week and it turned out to be nothing. But it was the kind of situation that was either nothing or something very serious. So I do appreciate that certain problems are not actually problems.

But things do make me angry at times. When somebody takes something from me that is mine, it just isn't right.

:)

No it isn't interwebz related.

The funny thing about this anger, it is making me more calm in other areas of my life. The kids were crazy this weekend and I was calm. Christmas lights normally cause stress with 800 broken bulbs, not a problem.

I am just mad about one thing. It is nothing more than getting screwed over out of money.

Take 'em to court, if you have any contractual grievances.

i say you one up the person.. show them who is boss

i think the point is, one of his bosses screwed him over,,when u have kids/mortgage u have to tread carefully..

I agree, you can't just react. More planning is required.

In all honesty, this situation calls for a long cooling off period. Remember the old adage: "Revenge is best served cold." Yes it's cliche, but also true.

My advice is to ignore the sitch for now. Pretend like it didn't happen, or that you don't realize what they've done. However, you're really watching them from afar. Then at the appropriate time, do the exact same thing to them that they did to you. What's the appropriate time you ask? When their boss is around, of course. Using their past words/actions against them is the best revenge, especially when the situation has turned old and cold.
