Steveg
...unless it's blatantly open? I have not seen Favre hit a guy in stride down the sideline.. Please - No Jump Balls - The guys in the other uniforms grab these more often than our guys
JiFtheOracle
If Cotch held on to that one, it might have changed the game.

nyjfan
Our receivers are slow as molasses. That's why people want David Clowny out there at WR. Favre says he's the fastest guy on the team. We DO need to ability to go deep. When teams start piling up in the box and our run and short pass play is struggling we're dead in the water. We need teams to play us honest and right now they don't have to at all because we only have a short passing game and our receivers are too easy to cover down field. It doesn't make any sense to me. Favre was throwing deep just fine in the preseason. The real issue is that corners and safeties are faster than our receivers therefore they never ever get seperation. They can always seem to get a step on a guy at first but by the time they're 20 yards down the field they're covered up completely because they are SLOW. The receivers just can't keep any seperation. Whats going on with our WR Draft pick from Kansas...Henry? I havent heard ANTHING about this guy since the season began.
Irish Jet
Favre's deep pases have been far from good this season. He's been great in the short game but every time he throws downfield I'm basically expecting an INT. The WR's are not suited to going long neither, they get very little seperation downfield. BettorFan
In the last 2 games Favre has thrown 8-15 yard passes consistently. Yesterday it was bomb after bomb. That's why we need to get up early so we are not playing catch up. That is our biggest weakness.
nyjfan
If our receivers were faster we wouldn't have nearly as many INTs. 90% of the time by the time the ball gets there the safety has already been there for 10 minutes. That's how slow these guys are...it's sick.
