The Red Bulls play at The Meadowlands, don't they?

I was referring to the "Red Bull Arena" which is being built in Harrison, NJ. The Red Bulls are only playing in the Meadowlands until the construction on their new stadium is finished.

And if they want this league to succeed they can't have teams playing at "Division 1" College Football Stadiums that better suit Division 2 teams.

If they want the league to survive they'll take a cheap lease with a number of seats comparable to the number of asses they can put in them.

In the end, most likely this league doesn't see two years.

It's bound to XFL it up... Unless they start signing players out of High Schools as an alternative to playing college football. Then they might eek out a niche, but even then, they better not count on being as popular as the NFL or FBS college football.

Stranger things have happened. There are also a lot of talents football players that don't quite make it in the NFL. Also, you might get a few talented underpaid back-ups making the switch. Some middle level veteran former stars could also finish their career there. Like Shaun Alexander.

The league probably doesn't even open and if it does it is destined to failure. However, strange **** might happen. If they team plays in actual NYC and is cheap I would go to a few games a year.

There is a reason why this league may see moderate success... the salary cap.

Some NFL vet backups will certainly opt to start somewhere and make the same if not more money. Some big names looking to make a comeback and prove themselves will likely give it a shot (Vick for example). A majority of the good practice squad players and some of the deeper NFL caliber roster depth players may jump ship for a chance to play and make some decent coin.

$20 mil means a lot of players making the NFL vet minimum or more.
