crashingjet
When healthy and not suspended for violating the leagues substance abuse policy, Chatman is a solid #3 back for the Jets. http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in_depth/2008/12/jesse-chatman-s.html New York Jets running back Jesse Chatman is having knee surgery today at Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables as yet another step in what has been a bitterly disappointing season for the former Miami Dolphins player. Because it speaks to yet another set of personnel decisions, these controversial, that Jeff Ireland and Bill Parcells made this year that have, well, paid off handsomely. Chatman, you'll remember, was a pretty good player for the Dolphins last year. He gained 515 yards and averaged 4 yards per carry. But unsigned for 2008, Parcells and Co. let him walk. crashingjet
Are you serious with this nonsense? Look, he's a New York Jet. Is this not the forum to post news about New York Jet players? Jeez, you'd think you guys would be happy that I'm not posting articles about Pennington.

crashingjet
Try posting something positive about a current Jets player and prove me wrong Look, I checked out the main forum and there was no article about Chatman's surgery, so I posted the article. In all fairness, Jesse Chatman IS a positive story. He was out of the league battling weight issues, he actually sat out the 2006 season ON HIS COUCH. The fact that he's been back in the league for 2 years is a testament to his character as a person and a football player. I honestly would like to see him get healthy and play for a few more years. Boynton Beach Jets
Chatman will likely never play again for the Jets. He did play well for the Dolphags:bag: last year and was a nice pick up this year. Even the nice pick ups do not always work out.
