Yeah you. The schmuck who seems to forget that Thomas Jones is on this team.

Use him your miserable mother****er!

If TJ doesn't get at least 25 touches next week, Jets fans should be allowed to line up and each get their turn to kick you in the balls you stupid asshead!!!

agreed, if sutton can get his D off the field to allow us 25 offensive plays

Really? When Schotty's been quoted as saying he intends to toss it downfield more, you gotta blame him.

Also, maybe the offense would had the ball longer had the playcalling not been miserably awful to the point that they we 1-10 on third downs at one point!

The guy ****ing sucks.

I hope Marty gets hired in Cleveland and brings his worthless POS son in as his OC.

F**k you Schitzy. You're as big a choker as your embarrassing head coach and players who will go down as this year's BIGGEST CHOKERS IN THE NFL. Your play calling is abysmal. Go find daddy and the both of you go take a successful Pop Warner team and run it into the ground with your pu*sy ass play calling. Gutless garbage, pure and simple.

perfect. ecurb, great signature, also perfect. They are a miserable group....wow!!!They SUCK!!!!!!

Doesn't everyone on this board know you try to put pressure on a rookie QB(especially one whose played four games this year. We don't even show different looks, we don't fake the blitz, we don't blitz, we don't f%$king move!!!!!!!!!!!And Ty Law is the slowest man on the field that isn't in a three-point stance.Nothing like getting slower in the secondary, playing a MLB in the 4-3 that flat out CANNOT cover people,(of course i mean Barton) and never blitzing.

Do they gameplan for the team they are playing that week? What the f$%k DO they do?

Newsflash: our defense has been like this all season. Our offense's inability to maintain drives the last two weeks, something they did that helped to mask our defense's weaknesses during the winning streak, has absolutely killed us.

And what has changed about our offense? The playcalling. Suddenly, Thomas Jones has become an afterthought.

If we trail by a single point in the second half, Schotty calls plays like we're down by 40 with no timeouts. The guy sucks and needs the boot.

Come on. Think critically. The 49ers offense is at their best when it is 2nd and 20 or 1st and 20. We put them in those situations 3 times, you can't expect to have a defense to defend 2nd and 20.

It's just too hard.

Oh yeah, i love on the oneplay that sutton calls....3 deep defending the deep ball, 3 man rush, hill stands there with no one even near him lofting a pass over our MLBer for a TD...it was called back for holding but it's nice to see sutton only worried about the deep pass and still get 100% burned.

miserable piece of dog ****. i can't believe anyone hired him to a professional coaching job. Oh wait, mangini found him.

Wow! You're actually correct

Some points:

  1. Mangini is a giant vagina (A). 0-0 4th and 1 1/2 from the opponents 38 and he punts? With the third best rushing attack in football? Results in an 18 yard net and set the tone for the ****ty day.
  2. Mangini is a giant vagina (B). Flash forward a few drives and we're down 7-0, we have a 4th and 1 at midfield. Our defense had just give up 2 long drives and our offense just picked up it's first, first down. Rather then go for it and try and build some game changing momentum, he punts again.
  3. Our offense is ball control and relies on moving the chains, our defense relies on the offense holding onto the ball. It was strange how often we were just a yard short on Sunday, and it wasn't all Favres fault either. Gain an extra yard here and there and momentum builds, defense gets a blow and this may be a different outcome. 4 near misses are below, we usually convert these when we win, but it goes to show how fragile a ball control offense is where a yard or two is consistently the difference between punting and scoring. (I used to say this when Pennington was here a lot and it's no different with Favre)
    • 3rd and 2, Keller drops a pass
    • 3rd and 1, Jones stuffed for no gain
    • 3rd and 9, 8 yard pass to Stucky, 4th and 1
    • 3rd and 7, 6 yard pass to Leon, 4th and 1

[*]Mangini and crew generally go to the spread offense way to early as if they are down a ton of points. But they usually don't do this because they are stupid, they do it because they sense the team needs a shot in the arm (they did need it but it was too early) which makes the decision to punt at mid field all the more bizarre in point 2. Btw, Jim Zorn is the opposite. His team is down multiple scores late and they are still running the ball, huddling up and snapping with 5 seconds left on the clock. Which makes me think that if Mangini and Zorn mated, they'd give birth to the perfect game day coach. (And we all know who the women would be)

[*]Been saying it for awhile now, but Favre can no longer throw it deep and I'm not talking just bombs, any pass that requires touch is risky business for him. If he has a lane to fire it through, he's fine. If he needs to go over the linebackers and drop it into a window forget about it. I kind of hope he retires at the end of the season, yeah, I said it..

[*]Can we stop throwing it to Coles down the field? I can remember at least 4 -5 INT's on these plays and the prima donna always makes a half hearted effort to prevent the INT.

The team and our coaches are just mentally soft. When they do not score off that first drive and the other team looks to do well they immediately hit the panic button. While I somewhat liked what he did in San Diego the timing was bad and he was coaching as if we were down big in a game that we were not down in at all. Once the team goes down by a TD they coach the remainder of the game as if they are down 20 points. They give up on the run. They heave it down the field. They go for it on 4th downs when they dont need to. If they go up by more than a TD they coach as if they are up 10 with 1 minute left regardless of what the time is that is left in the game. Rush nobody. Dont defend the middle of the field. Protect deep.

It just seems like a bizzare method of coaching and I dont think he can deal with criticism at all. Im sure reading it in the papers today or hearing it on the radio just gets him more defensive about the way he runs these games.

He'd never admit it... But maybe even he knows he's outclassed.

The problem was that he was never qualified to be a HC AND never demonstrated he was qualified. He was a DB coach who did a horrible job as a DC and was stripped of calling the shots on Sunday.

Woody hired him because he tried to catch lighting in a bottle. Instead, he caught a firefly.
