Jetfan13
this team has laid down since two giant wins on the road. All of a sudden they thought they were good and got man-handled at home by a not so good Denver and then let a nobody QB sit back and pick them apart yesterday. WTF was with the 3 man rush and the constant nickle coverage? We would circle their reciever with like 4 guys but leave a nice clear lane to him that would result in ANOTHER first down...Isaac Bruce is like older then me...WTF? No adjustments all game. It was like Sutton was saying we will do it with this alignment, period...and Mangini never said a word to him...WTF? And wait till next year...Favre is finished, 0 for 5 or 6 on deep balls and not one was even close...who do we have next season? Do we bring in a vet? or go with Clemens (God no) or Ratliff? either way we are screwed.. We have better playmakers then the Dolfags and they keep beating teams we can't even play with... Im sick and tired of this franchise, FINALLY! Another shake up in the near future and another laughing stock team here recently Hey Woody, take your PSL's and shove them sideways. right now Im done with traveling to anyplace to watch this team...I hope you lose your ass on your investment.. sorry, but enough is enough
aec4
If we would have lost to Tennessee, we would be 7-6 now. How is that better than being 8-5?

I think if we didn't beat Tenn, we wouldn't have come into the Denver game so flat and we wouldn't have thought we were good enough to not bust our asses in the week leading up to yesterdays game. NY JETS 29
san fran would have still played well, there a better and hungrier team under singletary. dumb thread. why not point to our wr's having all but two receptions instead a game that was played three damn weeks ago. and i meant cotch and coles when i say wr's

I never want to see these guys lose ,especially when I am doing these road games no-way I would have rather flown from NJ- to Tenn . for 3 Days & nights to watch us lose ,then just hit the NJ turnpike for a 1 hr. drive to the meadows to watch us lose there...So I am Happy we won out in Tenn. And again, some of you aren't getting my point. We beat THE undefeated Titans, therefore we are great. A NY Super Bowl, we have it made, just ask the media... Im thinking we would be hungrier in the games following the Titans game.. Thats all, run with it anyway you want, but you aren't getting what I was trying to say

4HCrew
I get what you are saying Al...after that win many kept talking about the Super Bowl when in reality the Jets won a big regular season game, nothing more nothing less. This team has been flat since... if the Jets flop this year, they will once again be at a crossroad searching for a franchise quarterback and possibly a coach

4HCrew
The Jets spend a ton of money, bring in Favre and do not make playoffs.. they will not have a franchise quarterback and need something to sell the fans especially going into a new stadium. His job status should at least be shakey
Jetfan13
thanx Duane & Tyson, at least someone understands what I meant. IMO Favre is gone next year. I think he is DONE this year. Gonna be another long off season if the Jets don't figure it out quickly.
abyzmul
I wish we would have lost to the Phins in week one, and gotten fired up, then lost to the Pats in week 2, and gotten riled up into a frenzy, and lost each week after that, getting more AND MORE ANGRY, THEN BY WEEK 17, THEY WOULD BE A PACK OF WILD ANIMALS, AND BEAT THE DOLPHINS 217-0, AND THEN KILL ALL THEIR PLAYERS AND THEIR CHEERLEADERS AND EAT THEIR BODIES!!! AND PUT TONY SPARANO'S HEAD ON A PIKE AND CARRY UP TO THE BOOTH AND PUT A HANDGRENADE DOWN PARCELLS' THROAT AND THROW HIM THROUGH THE WINDOW AS HE EXPLODES INTO A RAIN OF BLOOD AND GUTS THAT THE JETS FANS COULD ENJOY BATHING IN!!!! OOOOOOOOH YEAAAAAH BUDDY!!! CAN YOU FEEL ME?!?! CAN YOU FEEL ME?!?! But then we'd be 1-15.
afosomf
Reality has hit We were the most overrated Team this year, partly due to easy schedule the Pats win...barely over team led by mama cass and his band of merrymen the T1ts-- maybe they took us lightly...maybe they ain't that good, i will be shocked if 38 D's represent AFC in championship game Colts vs Stellahs Gints vs Bucs Stellahs vs Gints close game..haven't decided yet...Without Plex..gints easier to defend. SMC
I understood it, rejected it's premise, and stated the facts. Basically. In the grand scheme of things, beating the Titans on the road is still better than beating the Broncos at home. Thus, the whole premise of this thread is silly. Garb
Oh we know for most part Denver in Tenn In Pitt In Indy In Balt in Pats/Phins/jests Irrelevant at this point...1 and done This is the thing - you need to show steady improvment - and win statement type games - late in the season. Neither the Pats/Jets/Phins are showing this trait - and you just need it to go far in the playoffs. Jets could get lucky and play Tennessee first (is this possible?) - I think that match-up is your best bet. But all bets are off after that.
