124
ESPN.com Torn right hamstring to sideline Hillis for rest of season Associated Press DENVER -- Rookie Peyton Hillis has a torn right hamstring and is done for the season, becoming the fifth Denver Broncos tailback to go on injured reserve. Coach Mike Shanahan said Hillis will need eight weeks to recover and might need surgery. Hillis was hurt Sunday after an acrobatic catch against the Kansas City Chiefs when he was bent over with his right leg planted and his knee locked on the tackle. Hillis joined tailbacks Andre Hall, Michael Pittman, Anthony Alridge and Ryan Torain on IR. Plus, Selvin Young, the starter when the season began, has carried just once in the last two months because of a torn groin. The Broncos will promote Cory Boyd from the practice squad to compete with P.J. Pope to serve as Tatum Bell's backup. Bell was selling cell phones at a local mall when he was signed last month. 4HCrew
reminds me of the Terrell Davis situation when he was towards the end of his career...had a huge game against the Jets then gets hurt the next week.
JiFtheOracle
Too bad, I kind of like that he was the FB for those 2 first rounders and having a better rookie campaign. Well, he helped me get a fantasy win in my playoffs. I just needed because Marion was out, hopefully he will be back next week.
