ECURB
That sucks... what a terrible time for it to happen... I can't imagine not dropping everything and taking some time off of work... Cassel is going to a day or two most likely and be expected to resume on with his job... thats rough...

BroadwayJoe12
I can see him playing this weekend and having a good game. I've been through the same thing and the first week or two it was more shock and being in a daze...I think it'll hit him once the season is over and he doesn't have anything to keep him busy 24/7. That having been said, each person handles it differently and that's just one of the worst things you could ever go through.

You have no choice, you have to move on because they would have wanted you to improve. However, It may be an emotional time for him & it could effect his game. This is the 1st time you'll see me say this - I feel for you Matt, I really do...

124
Matt Casselhoff or White Cassel, whichever you prefer, is going to be the next starting Quarterback of the New York Jets so I figured we could show some respect as early as possible. If Favre doesn't return, I suspect the Jets will be one of the teams interested in him. From the Irrelevant Football Stats department: The Raiders are 0-1 when at home and facing a QB whose father passed away the preceding week and average giving up one passing TD per quarter.
