Jetkid94
8-5. at this point in the season with big wins, and bad losses how do you feel about our record. at times weve shown were better than 8-5, but at others weve played like a 5 win team. do you think we are better or worse than 8-5? glenn31
As our second greatest HC is known for saying: "You are what your record says you are." The NY Jets are an 8-5 team. No better, no worse.
ECURB
They are 8-5... if they were a better team they would have a better record... if they were worse they would have a worse record... For the record though 8-5 is not that good of a record for the schedule and talent level they have... Your only as strong as your weakest link... 4HCrew
I will go out on a limb and say the Jets are an 8-5 team
indygirl4jets
When they make the playoffs its not really going to matter what their record is.
Vudu
We are 8-5 so thinking about us being below or above 8 wins is counterproductive. We're as good as an 8-5 team should be.

That sounds about right. Look at the Pats and Fish. Each of those teams has had some solid wins, some nailbiters, and some "wtf?" losses. All, not surprisingly, have the same record.
