Would-be thief says 'supernatural figure' prevented him from fleeing

Associated Press

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - A burglar who broke into a house claims he was held captive by a "supernatural figure" for three days without food and water, officials said.

Police official Abdul Marlik Hakim Johar told The Star newspaper the house's owners found the 36-year-old man fatigued and dehydrated when they returned from vacation Thursday.

He says they called an ambulance to take him to a hospital.

The man told police that every time he tried to escape, a "supernatural figure" shoved him to the ground.

Abdul Marlik could not immediately be reached and other police officials declined to comment.

Who hasn't been held captive by a supernatural entity? No real story here.

I posted a thread a couple of months back of something that happened to me in the kitchen while making an egg salad samich. As clear as a bell I heard a disembodied female voice say "you're making me want a tuna sandwich" at which point I went in the closet, got out a can of albacore and made the tuna as I thought it was my wife saying it at the table there right behind me.

So I make the sandwich, put it on a paper plate and say "here" she says "I don't want THAT" and I say you just friggin told me you wanted one-she never said it...I think it may have been my recently deceased Aunt Angie asking for it, since our family used to make egg and tuna salad together all the time growing up-it was so weird-and yea-I was sober as a judge

I'm sure these posts are sincere, but are these the things a *real* ghost would do?

If you were a ghost would you stand around moaning and dangling chains? ..or telling people to make sandwiches?

I think a real guy turned into a ghost might say something like:

"DUDE! Don't be Lutheran!"

"It sounded like a good idea at the time, and now I'm in someone's attic flicking the light on and off!!!"

Weird is right but they DO exist IMHO.
