I suggest we don't mention the Miami QB's name again on this board.

He doesn't scare me in the Meadowlands

Anyone that tells me that I'm a liar or a fool for thinking that sure has not watched Jets December footbal in the Meadowlands for the past 8 seasons

Wasn't Chad the QB for most of those games?he's on the other team now

So, two sundays from now, loser goes home, chad and the dolphins come into the "mystic filled" meadowlands lol

You're not at all worried??? God bless you, you are twice the man I am.

I used to think my team had the most pressure packed schedule. Until you guys recent dilemna.... Wow, the possibility of the AFCE all riding on one game with the future HOF QB you guys traded for vs the QB ya's let go to make room for him. If both teams win this week i think that game will be one of the most watched regular season games of all time IMO.

There are a few "if's" to get out of the way first, but if it happens, Dolphins vs Jets week 17 for all the marbles, I'll be a nervous wreck for the entire week. And if they flex it to the night game, I don't know what I'll do with myself all day Sunday. Drinkings out of the question cause I'll pass out before the 4 o'clock games. I'll have to ask Ricky how to get to that inner peace inside ;)

Jon, I have no quarrell with you, my friend, but, honestly, i must say after EVERYTHING that has been done to us, often by the fins, this is a perfect script, a classic addition to the jet annals and I, for one, am shaking like I'm writing a bad check over this matchup.

Can it be avoided with Jets win/Mia loss this sun???Or does that game still have lose-go home ramifications?

and,Yes we have to get in this position by winning, true BUT....

it's not ONLY Chad, I'm worried about, although Shaun Hill look makes him look like Marino, it's the WHOLE F$#KIN SCENERIO!!!

and coaching, yet AGAIN comes to play, What do you do??? It's a hard game that will DEFINITELY come down to coaching and it's the dunces vs. THE TUNA and puppet.:

1. If Mangini and dunces said "let's go Brett vs. Chad", let TJ/leon and Ronnie/ Ricky cancel each other out.Either:

a. Brett shows why he's Canton or

b. he throws 3 INT's while chad plays conservative flawless ball.

2. Mangini is leading a defense that has fallen like a chopper in flames with an idiot DC. Miami has the greatest defensive mind ever(arguably) at the helm of one of the hottest d's in the league.

SO, here it is:

1. Brett, turnover machine, well past his prime,BUT does he have enough of that greatness left to stop a tough as nails guy that we KNOW can win in the meadowlands with a thousand pound chip on his shoulder?

2. Can our defense find whatever the hell it had the first half of the season and stop the running attack?

3. Can TJ and Leon slice that Miami front seven?

4. Can our secondary play like we have two probowlers and an ex probowler and a talented rookie and a playmaking SS against an arm they are sooooo familiar with?

A few names:

FEELY

CLOWNEY

FAVRE

JENKINS

DEVITO

ELLIS

NO MORE #44, NO MORE POUHA

ps there was NOONE to cut besides Justin Miller????? Gimme a f$%king break.

Lol..

I hear you on the nervous and drinking thing.. But I'd think you guys would be loose. The Jets should win the game. Period. We have a lot more to lose, a ton actually.

If you guys win you and Chad will be the darlings of the season and a great story. we'll be a national embarrassment and mar the end of Favre's hall of fame career.

On the other hand, if we win it's because it was expected and you still had a nice season regardless.

It's kind like the Pats/Giants last year to be honest, except obviously the difference between the two teams isn't as great..

I expect Mangina's tiny balls will be so shrivelled up that we'll spend all day in the prevent and running/throwing screens..

And anyone who says he doesn't scare them on that last Sunday is a liar or a fool.

Oh yeah, we should all really worried about Chad in a late December game in the Meadowlands.

Granted, I used to be scared of Chad in the situation, but that happened to coincide with him being the starting QB of the Jets. These days, not so much.

Chad was never the problem for us. He would have the same record as frave this year maybe even a win or two better.

Get ready for payback people! Chad is going to beat us in the meadowlands and end our dreams.

Welcome to your worst nightmare!

Holy Dolphins fan Batman!

I really dont want to lose against Chad but soemthing tells me The jets organization deserves it. I'd rather lose to seattle this week and get the pain over with then have false hope and have Chad crush our dreams. Deep down everyone has the same fear as me.

The Jets organization deserves it? Are you ****ing kidding me? What the hell is wrong with you people?

The Jets don't deserve it and it won't happen. Regardless of what happens next week, the Dolphins as a team historically play worse in cold weather games and Pennington is the king of sucking in the cold. I can't believe anyone is even concerned about that game in the least. Sad to say, Seattle is a much bigger threat than old J.C. Pennington.

I keep on reading posts in a lot of threads about how bad Chad is in December games at the Meadowlands. I took 5 minutes and found these stats for games in December for Chadwick.

2002: 2-0

2003: 2-1

2004: 2-1

2006: 1-1

2 of those losses came against the 14-2 Pats in 2003 & 2004.

I'm no Chad fan but I do like to look at the facts.

People here focus on this fruitcake a little too much. Miami has:

A good run game

A good defense

And those travel in cold weather. I just can't see how we beat Miami at this point considering how we cannot stop the run at all now.
