Very cool. Great to see Leon make it this year after being robbed last year. Glad to see Revis get the honor so early in his career, he really has earned it, but a lot of times that doesn't make a difference. Lets be honest, Favre made it on his name, but who gives a crap? Sucks for Rivers though, he deserved to make it.

The rest of the Jets I think all deserved it. Great to see Jones get the starting spot, he certainly deserves it. Mangold has been close in the past, so nice to see him finally make it.

Maybe I'm crazy, but somebody else will have to double check this for me:

Am I missing something, or do the Jets have more Pro Bowlers than any team in the league? I checked the teams I would think that would have more, but the Jets have more than the Giants, Titans, Cowboys, Cardinals, Patriots, Vikings, Steelers.

How the hell did this happen? :-P

Where Favre goes, ratings go and where ratings go, recognition goes.

Pretty simple.

3 FA signings who became Pro Bowlers certainly doesn't hurt either, but I think you're right, Favre's addition helped to get other guys there too, particularly the younger guys. While deserving of the nod, players like Mangold, Washington and Revis would be your typical Pro Bowl snubs for the Jets in years past.

True but they were always going to be regardless.

Faneca's been good but not great. D'Brick deserved to go ahead of Thomas or Peters.

Bull crap..

Faneca's been awesome and when a lot of these votes were cast we were 8-3 and seemingly SB bound..Favre was near the league lead in TD's at that time..

Many votes were probably cast when we were the talk of the league..

I'm not sure I understand, I thought fan vote was only 1/3 of it? I mean, I understand Revis, leon and Jenkins. But, Beyond that I'm not sure I understand why most of these guys mad it. As a Jet fan I'm happy they did and good for them, I'm just not quite sure I understand why all these guys made it.

The coaches and the players must think differently.
