Mandarinia
I think a lot of us have gotten ****y a few weeks ago (after the NE and Tenn games) and a few games b4 that when the Jets blew out teams. But what ever happened to a win is a win? Yes i am too dissapointed in our level of play that last few weeks, but does it matter if you beat a team by 21 points or if u just get lucky in the last 2 min of the game? It doesnt matter we won. Should the Jets be playing better? I think yes. Should the coaching staff be game-planning better? I think yes. Do i care if we win by 1 point or by 20? No, as long as we win. Agreed, but I think what frustrates us Jet fans the most is that this team is so damn talented...and if there is a time for this team to shine it's now. The Jets are built to win right now, and if they don't, Jet fans feel the inept coaching staff is squandering a golden opportunity for this team to reach the promise land. Again, 7 pro-bowlers? This team should be mopping the floor with teams like San Fran and Denver. To just barely beat Buffalo is ridiculous

Thats why there are coaches. The probowl reconizes individual acomplishments...wins come from a team.

The talent is there big guy Thats my point. How come you dont see mangini selected to coach the AFC in the probowl with all his football genius? (not like the probowl matters anyways) The players still need to be prepaired for the up coming game, if the coachs do a poor job then the players play sloppy. Each and every player out there leans on one another. You expect the guy next to you to know his role and what he has to do. But like I said b4 who cares if it was sloppy or a lucky game, we won...just be happy.
jason423
We've all seen this story play out so many times everyone knows the typical ending---Jets go home---which is why everyone takes it so hard when the Jets barely squeak out a win against a bad team. Plus I think everyone fears NE because they play such an easy schedule and their coach is 100 times the coach our team has. But complaining about how bad the team has played the last three weeks is different than complaining the team won. I think everyone is happy the team won. Trust me-I'm happy about the Buffalo win, but if this team is firing on all cylinders the Jets should bury the Bills at home. It's the coach's job to make sure that happens But yes, a win is a win
Boynton Beach Jets
When it really is a loss....the point of the whole game is they should have been playing with urgency which they did not. indygirl4jets
Agreed, there is far too much talent on this team, its definitely the coaching staff that is the problem.

To see them come out and play hungry and with urgency in Seattle would settle a lot of us down and make us feel a little better going into the Miami game, and then into the playoffs. Irish Jet
I'm thrilled we won the game but the fact of the matter is if not for a miraculous play, which only occured because of an idiotic play call from Jauron, we would have lost to a shambles of a team that had given up on their season. Now don't get me wrong I was celebrating like nothing normal when Ellis was crashing into the endzone but I still could not feel good about the way the game played out. Now if we roll into Seattle and blow them out of the water I'll feel better but for now I can't help feeling that the wheels are coming off. Boynton Beach Jets
That's the question...can they? will they? Got me One of the biggest disappointments is we had to know the Jilllls were going to run it at us and they did they ran right over us. Why did we not stack the box? Where was our wonderful run defense. This game was a huge step back-wards. Please tell me what leads anybody to think they can win.

It's baffling, we go through a good part of the season thinking our defensive strength is stopping the run, and Hillis, Gore and Lynch have great days against us. Tackling would help too. It's a mystery

Big Boy
Agreed, the tackling was sickening and a sign of a team that has given up Yeah, remember that run by the 2nd string guy (I forget his name) in the red zone where it took 5 Jets to get him down? But you know what, on the flipside, that (Bills)game and the defensive play at the end could be a season changer. Favre said it himself in the post game news conference. For some reason I believe that. It's almost like the Jets can play this out with house money. We'll see...

SayNoToDMC
A win is a win as far as the standing go, but when ur playing teams like SF, Denver and Buffalo down the stretch it's also supposed to be a ****ing statement, and the statement we've made is with 7 pro-bowlers and a team with as much individual talent as anyone that our staff shouldn't even be coaching at a HS level. I'd take a loss like the Giants had going into the playoffs last year over a win like we had against Buffalo.

shawn306
I think alot of it will depend on how the Jets respond to the gift they got from Buffalo. If they go and win the next two, people will say that the Buffalo game was the spark they needed to get back on track. If the sh!tty play on the defense continues then the Jets will probably not win the division and even if they do, it will be a short post season trip. We will find out Sunday in Seattle which way this team goes.

We're in first place. Get over it. They have 7 pro bowlers hand picked by this group and playing at a "pro bowl level" under them.

Well you can also look at it as "Well we finally caught a break". How many times have we sat here and asked ourselves, "How the heck did we let that one get away?" I would run out of fingers and toes before I stopped counting. I am at the end of my rope with Mangini. Alot though can change in two weeks in the NFL. It feels like Herm all over again..... throw out the rams game, as they suck and jackson did not play 1 complete game all year vs Tenn Sea game ...i see seneca running for 100 yds. Let's see if CS can devise a gameplan to stop him...as this is a playoff game..make no mistake about it

With the ton of negative posts here lately you'd think we were 5-9 instead of 9-5. I find that very frustrating as a long time Jets fan. We've more than doubled our win total from last year and are in 1st place in the East. Be happy !!!
