Brady will not comment on how knee is doing

Probably too busy wiping the pus out of the wound wondering what surgical instrument those Boston docs left in his knee.

Surgery was done in Los Angeles by the Jobe group, one of the most respected groups in the country. He did not use the Pats docs.

The problem may have come from the fact that they tried to fix the MCL (which they usually let heal naturally first) so they could fix the ACL faster.

If Brady's leg goes bad, they will be the bankrupt Jobe group

Staph is staph my friend and it doesn't matter what group did the operation. That's the funny thing about ortho...everyone of these guys flies all over the country when any one of a number of good knee specialists are available in most major metro areas. Shawn Merriman is a good example.

You're right about fixing both ligaments at once. That's not the usual procedure. MCL will heal itself most of the time.

I was just wondering if Brady spent much time with the team. Has he been on the sidelines for any games or is that not allowed?

It is permitted per league rules. But Brady hasn't been spotted at any Patriots games.

He has attend some team meetings an is occasionally spotted arriving or leaving Foxboro, but he is never in area where the press is when he is in Foxoboro.

I am guessing he doesn't go cause he would be a hell of a distraction. The team has a QB, his name is Matt Cassel, but if Brady was at the game the media would want Brady to do the post game presser.

Also I don't know about you, but I don't want my HoF QB with a bum knee standing around on the sideline in the cold rain.

He's at Gillette almost every day working out, mentoring Cassel and in the QB meetings helping out to ....according to local reports. He is not on the sidelines - and I'm pretty sure it's a team policy that folks on IR do not prowl the sidelines. Never seen it before...well, actually, that's not true. Saw it once. An SB, I think. Ty Law was on the Pats sidelines in his motorized wheel chair. Remember that?

In Brady's case it would be limp the sidelines. I don't know if that knee allows him to prowl.

Plus, from a medical standpoint, being on the sideline may subject Brady or any other player on IR to further injury. We've seen players, coaches, cameramen, etc. get wiped out on the sidelines. Brady doesn't even need to get hit to reinjure himself. He could just make a sudden movement to avoid contact and **SNAP**

He's not limping and "insiders" in the Boston area are saying that his recovery is going well. I understand your fear, however. That is why this year looms large for the Jets. Here's you're one chance in the TB/BB era.;)
