124
PFT.com APPARENTLY, BRAYLON WANTS OUT OF CLEVELAND Posted by Mike Florio on December 17, 2008, 9:22 p.m. In yet another sign of the disaster that is the 2008 edition of the Cleveland Browns, receiver Braylon Edwards sounds like a guy who
Sperm Edwards
He's a jackass, but if people are really saying things to him with his family right there, or to his parents, then that's messed-up.

I don't know how he thinks he can be an actor. He would just drop the script when somebody hands it to him.
124
A Michigan star will never be well liked in Ohio State country. Just will not happen unless they win a championship in that city and are one of the best in the game, if not the best, at their position. Braylon is good, but he isn't Top 5 or even Top 10. That being said, my favorite Wolverine of all time. Go Blue!

I'm tellin' ya i know many many hardcore die-hard clowns fans and most DO hold the Michigan thing against him. Now if he didn't have so many drops they'd tolerate a bit more, but they aren't now. There's no more hateful fanbase towards rivals than clowns fans IMHO. If you're a Steeler or Michigan guy ya get HATE thrown at ya here alot. Magnus Malax
How about "They don't like me because I'm underachieving? They don't like me because I had three catches against Cincy and I drop a lot of balls"?? That would be too easy and logical, wouldn't it Braylon? Jetscode1
Excuses...excuses...the guy makes the Pro Bowl then disappears well not quite disappears because he still gets open just can't concentrate enough to catch the ball. Trade him to Dallas to add to the drama or better yet trade him to the Lions. Maybe he'll like it better up there...

Get rid of Crybaby Coles and find a way to bring in Edwards and that is a team with a #1 receiver and a deep threat. (Edit: this will never happen). With Matt Millen gone I don't know if the Lions have that much interest in big name WR's.

We already cut McCarreins a few years ago, you really want to try that experiment again?

Coles is one set of problems and Edwards is just a completely different set of problems. How about keep Coles for another year. Develop Clowney. Find a WR in draft. Forget about Edwards. He's fool's gold. Better athlete than receiver. More of personality now. He'll probably have another good year in NFL. Right around the time his next contract is up. Seems like he can only focus on the ball when the $$$ are in sight.
