Flights are going out... there is up to 5 hour delays though on regular flights... who knows if they treat the JETS any different..

Well.. lets hope they actually got to the airport. i assume that the roads are a mess.. they are a disaster up here.,

i cant imagine they would want the team to be sitting on the tarmac for hours before a 6 hour flight..

can you say STIFF?

One guy, offensive lineman Robert Turner, practiced in short sleeves and shorts. Another offensive lineman, Wayne Hunter, wore short sleeves and sweatpants and Brandon Renkart, the rookie from Rutgers who is on the practice squad, wore long sleeves and shorts. Renkart insisted he didn't wear shorts to prove anything.

"I don't know. I've always worn shorts - I'm from Jersey. I'm used to the weather,'' Renkart said.

(To which Jehuu Caulcrick, a practice squad running back whose locker is next to Renkart's piped in, "I'm from Buffalo. Cold is cold!'')

Renkart insisted he wasn't trying to prove anything by not wearing long pants. And he called Turner crazy for wearing shorts and short sleeves.

But Turner also insisted he wasn't trying to prove anything by showing off his arms and legs, and swore he just doesn't feel the cold that much.

"It really wasn't that cold outside,'' Turner said. "I mean, I don't know what the exact temperature was, but it wasn't that cold.'' (For the record, my laptop tells me it's 28 degrees Fahrenheit here in Florham Park.)
