NIGHT STALKER
Manny Ramirez has told friends that he is confident the Yankees will offer him a contract of at least three years, a source informed the New York Daily News. The report goes on to say that Ramirez is shooting for a four-year, $100 million contract. However, three years might be the best he can do and the Yankees would likely be able to meet his salary demands if they decide they want him. ECURB
Why do we care? Offer him 15 years for all I care... win this year... we can worry about 5 years from now later... its not like they dont have the cash to buy out part of a contract and trade... 124
3 years, $75 million. Do it Yankees, do it. You want to win? AJ Pavano is not going to do it. Manny Ramirez will.

If he says he is going somewhere else just give him the extra year and buy it out if he falls apart... why do we care how much the Yanks spend? After rethinking my posiition on AJ, I think we're going to be pleasantly surprised with his production. He's not just a thrower anymore...we''l see.
