PFSIKH
Interesting. After what Boras did to the Yankees, looks like other teams are not going to fall into the same trap and bid against themselves.

PFSIKH
All it would take is two teams and let the auction begin! That can be true. When the Sox pulled out, they showed the 'believed' top bids by the teams on ESPN. Other then the Orioles, the Sox, Angels and Nats were all within about 5-15 million of each other. The Sox had the highest at 165-175 million. 24 hours later after Boston had left, they are speculating in Boston that Boras wanted $195 million. Even big market teams have limits. 25 million per is a good chunk of a teams salary even when they are dropping $130-150 million per year.
anskyruben
I hope this idiot sits in limbo and no one signs him for a while. Him and Boras should die in a fire.
