Anyone realize that this is almost the EXACT same scenario?

A 3-team race in the AFCE with the Jets, Dolphins, and Pats.

The Jets have a big 4 o'clock game against a tough team ('02 the Pack obviously '08 the Fins) & they also need help in the earlier game. Remember the Pats pulled off a miraculous comeback against Ricky Williams and the Dolphins when they look real good. The Jets only need either the Pats to lose @ BUF or JAX to beat the Ravens (both teams have been very competitive as of late). I actually like their chances to make the playoffs but I feel like I'm the only one on this board. I'm probably just an idiot LOL but I haven't given up complete faith yet and I will be there next week to cheer my team on strong.

J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!!!!!!! please.

BTW all three teams want history to repeat.

History: Jets win; Patriots win (NE version)

History: Jets win division (Jets version)

History: Pennington leads his team to victory over a team led by Favre (Dolphin version)

The only problem that is that the Jets are playing probably their worst football of the year right now.

In 2002 they were playing quite well (minus a loss to a bad Chicago team)

This team looks dead. No life on offense, none on defense.

Even if the unthinkable happens and New England loses or the Ravens are losing, I can't see this team right now putting up any effort against Miami.
