ZachEY
Things could always be worse- we could be Lion fans. At least they don't have their expectations torn to shreds. They know they're going to be bad. This is in reference to the fact that the Lions would beat us, and we'd give them their 1 win.
DoubleDown
At least the Favre trade is not going to cost us more than a 4th rounder. That's what I thought you would say before I opened the thread.

Why not?

If you take a look at the list of QB's we've lost to this year, anything is possible.

124
At least the Favre trade is not going to cost us more than a 4th rounder. Yes it is. The Favre trade is going to cost us a 3rd rounder. It was knocked up from a 4th to a 3rd if he played in over 60% of the Offensive snaps I believe and he's far from achieved that. 2nd rounder if playoffs. 1st rounder if Super Bowl. We will end up giving our 3rd to Green Bay & 4th to New Orleans and will receive New Orleans' 3rd.

JiFtheOracle
LOL. I have heard often this season....well...at least you are not a Lions fan. I disagree. At least with them they give you no reason to believe. This team just sucks you and rips your soul out. The Lions expect to suck every year. That's like the old debate in baseball up until 2004 about the Red Sox fans and Cub fans. Cub fans always argued they had it worse because they were horrible for so long while the Red Sox fans always retorted that they had it worse because they always had their hearts ripped out by their team. Gen X Jet
No, losing to Chad is a bigger FU to the fan base. I can't imagine a worse scenario.
JoeC36
i honestly dont know what i would do if the Jets played the 0-15 Lions and lost. Probably something that i wouldnt live long enough to regret doing.

How's this: winning sends the Patriots to the playoffs. They'll probably win it all too, or at least lose to the Giants again.
