Jetscode1
Another good read...great point about Bryan Cox addressing the team...the guy exemplifies fiery football leader. Can't see Mangini allowing it...may not have enough confidence in his own leadership skills to consider allowing an assistant coach to fire up the team. A good leader hires leaders who complement their skills not those who mirror their own leadership skills. CTM
This is the first ever Leberfeld article where I think he hit the nail on the head for the most part. I believe he focused to much on personal then scheme, but at the end of the day the lack of emotion on this team is a big issue imo..
Jetscode1
This is the first ever Leberfeld article where I think he hit the nail on the head for the most part. I believe he focused to much on personal then scheme, but at the end of the day the lack of emotion on this team is a big issue imo.. The problem as I see it...Mangini knew this last year...he knew his locker room needed some fire and brimstone...smarter defensive coordinator...he wanted Rob Ryan...Al Davis blocks it and Mangini (confident with his relationship with Tannenbaum maybe) doesn't make the move to fire Sutton because he wants to get Ryan after this year. The lesson...he who hesitates is lost....Sutton needed to go. The team needed to play with more emotion...Now can Mangini handle the heat to end this year for a return next year? Time will tell. serphnx
BS. It's the Same Old Jets. Apparently Coughlin is now a fiery coach who does not have rules for his players. And Eli Manning is a vocal leader that fires everyone up! haha No, I think it's the SOJ instead, and bad football. Also has this guy played in Class A? Otherwise aec4 has a few words for him.
