Irish Jet
I know I've been as negative as Hell this week and I do want Mangini gone but I still would love to see this team at least get a chance in the playoffs. I am probably the worst when it comes to optimism but **** it I mean San Diego needed the same miracle we did last week and the Bills came through for them. Buffallo is never an easy place to go and with all the pressure on the Pat, the Bills could pull it out. The Jags too. They gave Indy a game last week and have a long week to prepare. These teams are dissapointed as Hell and there's nothing they'd love to do more than crush a playoff contender to show that they have something. Anyways, The three stooges and the washed up QB may be complete **** ups but lets beat Chad ****ing Pennington and the Fish and at least give us a chance! Matt39
I think the players have quit on Mangini. Sunday wont matter, this team is toast. Mangini will be fired, barring a miracle on Sunday and a playoff run. But the players have already mentally checked out. Seattle should have showed us all that. 4HCrew
I agree this team has quit on Mangini, just like the Pete Carroll team did. I will be rooting hard on Sunday but in my heart do not believe in them at all
Irish Jet
I'd be lying if I said I have a lot of faith in them either. But there's still talent there and like I said before FAR stranger things have happened over the years.
JoeC36
theyve definitly quit on this coaching staff. In fact i think every coach except Westhoff is a piece of ****. But i really do beleive they will come out to play this weekend and beat the fins. There professionals and i expect them to act and play like it. SayNoToDMC
We make the Playoffs and this coaching staff isn't going anywhere. I'd rather keep our second round pick miss the playoffs and get rid of Favre, Mangini and the rest of the clowns on this coaching staff(minus Westhoff). NY JETS 29
Mangini is not going anywhere, Woody is going to see out TANGINI. Call the front office, start chants, piss and moan, but Eric Mangini will be the head coach in 2009, he may even get an extension during the offseason. WILIONS85
your right stranger things have happened like being in the parking lot in 2002 waiting for the end of the dolphin and pats games with both teams winning with less than 2 min to go in each game and both end up losing all i remember is rushing the gates with about 35,000 other screaming fans there were more fans outside than in the stadium the security gaurds just moved out of the way then we proceeded to destroy green bay 42-17 SO ITS NOT OVER UNTIL THE FAT LADY SINGS she;s warming up i;ll give you that

IDK about the extension part, but he'll coach out his contract IMO.
Irish Jet
Only this week? LOL. Good point. I've been negative for most of the season as have many Jet fans. I can't blame them when we have to go through some of the **** we do. I tend to post when I'm depressed for example after a huge loss. Ah well, no more. We have a chance this week, not a good one but a chance nonetheless. Hopefully we at least do our bit to make the playoffs.
SMC
By the time of the 4:15 kickoff, the Jets will have playoff destiny in their own hands.

At least the players actually respect him.
Jet Moses
If the Jets win, it won't be a team effort. It will be on fluke plays, like one or two pick 6's, or Leon will run one back. Miami will do something stupid and the the Jets will capitalize on it. If Miami plays mistake free, doesn't give up any easy points on special teams, they will win because they will be the better coached team.
kelticwizard
You always cheer for your team to win, that's the reason you're a fan. If they are in a slump, you want them to get out of it right away. I like Chad, but I'll be cheering for the Jets like hell Sunday. I don't care if the Jets are out of the playoffs or what, that's my team on the field. But you have to admit, they haven't given us any big indications they are focused and ready to win. They haven't played like they want it.

stoicsentry
I really think the Jets will beat Miami this week. Just have that feeling that we will win by 14+ points. Not any wishful thinking really, since I doubt Buffalo or Jax will win so we won't make the playoffs, but I'm pretty sure we will win
war ensemble
If he gets an extension then Woody should be shot.... ...In the head. I disagree. I'd go with a few shots to the kneecaps, genitals, and other areas before I went in for the fatality. He doesn't deserve an instant death.
