RoadFan
You guys make me sick! Brett has been playing hurt since about week 6 or 7. You are probably the same bozos that cheered when Chad got hurt. Brett has given everything he has for this team...just like Chad did when he was here and all you can say is "bench him", "retire", etc. Douchebags. SpartanJet
No kidding...Egg Pennington missed like half his starts due to injury or sucking but people still love him. I'm going to enjoy the Miami/Baltimore game as Chad will do what he did best in big games under pressure...fold like a lawnchair. Chad isn't a QB who will take you anywhere meaningful in the playoffs...one day people will see this fact and realize whether you liked the Favre deal or not, getting rid of that gimp Pennington was the best move for the franchise. Farve and the defense **** the bed when we had a stranglehold on the AFC East. You expect us to be happy about it? Playing hurt, and making the team worse because of a streak? That's the ultimate in selfishness.
Barton
It sucks, but Brett Favre is playing with a very serious shoulder/arm issue. There is no skating around the truth. There's a reason why we havent seen his fastball all year and why he is constantly under-throwing guys. He took the hit vs Cinci, and hasnt been the same since. It's just a fact at this point. Only the Jets could acquire the NFL iron-man and get him seriously injured.

If you are hurt, take a seat and let a healthy QB play.

JETfrmWOMBtoTOMB
Favre mum on future, but says arm may be issue By DENNIS WASZAK Jr., AP Sports Writer 33 minutes ago Print FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP)—Brett Favre insists he hasn’t decided whether he’ll return to the New York Jets next season, but says the health of his right arm could be a factor. The 39-year-old quarterback has struggled for several weeks, with one touchdown and six interceptions. Favre’s arm strength doesn’t appear to be what it was earlier this season. That has led to speculation his right shoulder may be ailing, and Favre did little to dispel that notion Wednesday. “During the course of the year, there was numerous times where I’d been asked about my shoulder and it had been hit a couple of times,” Favre said. “I don’t know. I mean, just knowing my body, there may be something, but there’s no test yet to reveal anything.” I could give a **** about his future. (by this I don't mean I'd want harm to come to him) I'm worried about the game we have left. I'll tell you what you're future is Favre, the ****ing couch where you shoulda' been this season. Now get the **** out the way and let Ratliff play.
Scott Dierking
I am sure the team officials and coaching staff are absolutely thrilled that Favre decided to tell this to the media. Favre obviously feels his legacy is far more important than some game for the Jets. Retire immediately after the season. As if this ego-maniac could go that quickly. Irish Jet
And you gave me **** for bashing Coles? you're pathetic. Why exactly? BTW I gave you **** before Coles pulled the mother of all J-Mac's in dropping that deep ball BUT Coles had that one drop, while Favre missed multiple deep balls. To say Coles is more responsible for the meltdown of this season than Lord Favre is absolutely laughable to say the least. I think Favre is done, Clemens is at least fresh and has some physical ability. I think he'd honestly be an upgrade at this point.

madmike1
This moronic FO apparently isn't smart enough to realize that the Favre deal was a one year thing and that it's time for the franchise to move forward. Pennington never said anything about his injuries until AFTER the seasons were over. That you buy into this drama and ego is sad. Blaming poor play on injuries isn't ever really an admirable trait.. The only thing waiting till after the season does is prevent your opponents from taking advantage, but I'm hoping this is a rope a dope...
