Schefter on HC's in trouble

My guess is that they want to get a little bit better before hiring someone new into a no-win situation. Maybe Marvin Lewis is going to be there to ride out the last year before they cut ties with Chad Johnson & the rest of them.

With this roster they definitely need a coach that is good with his hands and can defend himself. So maybe it is a one year move like you said. The new coach is working out and taking self defense classes.

lol.... If the bungles ever get bold and cut ties with their headache players they could start to turn things back around. They could get some decent value for ocho stinko too. They are not that far from being contenders IMO when ya consider all the teams in their range talent-wise.

I am shocked by that as well. How is Marvin Lewis safe?

Its good the Bungels are inept and in the AFC.

The Bengals only 2 years ago were considered contenders in the AFC. Marvin Lewis should bear some of the blame for the wheels falling off the franchise. Jaron could be out in Buffalo because of 1 bad call and Lewis holds his job this just does not sound right.

Puzzling to say the least, but that should be Herms next stop if and when Lewis does get his pink slip.

Herm could operate in obscurity in the Natti. 4 - 12 would be a good season.

Herm should not be handed another team he should earn his next NFL gig. He essentially took over a Super Bowl contending team under Dick Vermeal and drove his team into the ground, just like the Jets. I heard rumors a month ago through the media that Herm is going to San Diego State.
