For nostalgic purposes....Jets Dolphins 1991-regular season finale

Somehow, my father, who's been brutalized by this team for the past 40 years managed to find the VHS of the Jets Dolphins game in 1991 that sent the Jets to playoffs with a magnificent 8-8 record.

The Jets lost their 3 games prior to this when they had destiny in their own hands, only to beat the Dolphins on Raul Allegre's OT field goal.

I guess stranger things have happened. Hopefully this is a sign of good luck for Sunday.

Freeman McNeil had a huge run in the last few seconds to set up the field goal. Freeman did a marvelous job to getting out of bounds on the play to kill the clock.

when that game happened the next day Im listening on the radio and they say playoff tickets are available @ the astrodome. I called up ticketmaster bought 2 seats on lower level for next to nothing and me and my season ticket partner went to the game. Stayed at my sisters house used her car while she was up here for the holidays! they played a good game but lost Johny Hector (I believed got stopped on a 4th and I)
