Marshawn Lynch vs Lamont

Edge: Bills

Lamont is not the Pats only back.

Also take into account this - The Bills passing game largely revolves around shots downfield to Evans and although you could say the Pats have the same philosophy with Randy Moss, they have Wes Welker to fall back on in the short passing game. I bet Welker has a HUGE game.

Like I said the Pats are used to rough conditions, look what they done last week in a blizzard (Even though it was the Cardinals). If it is an advantage to the Bills, it's not a big one.

Also, if Lynch is out you could almost write up a Pats victory. It's bad enough that they're without Jason Peters at Left Tackle. They need Lynch to beat the Pats IMO.

Agreed, without Lynch they are done. Even w/o Seymour and Bruschi.

Lynch is super overrated.

The guy has three 100 yard games all year (one against us of course). And in the other 12 games he only topped 80 yards once (83 yards).

In all other 11 games he has had 79 rushing yards or fewer and has had under 60 yards in 7 of them ... under 50 yards in 5 of them.

Not that big of a loss.

Can't be serious? I bet the Jills will rather have him than starting Fred Jackson. Lynch is their whole offense, especially in conditions like this.

I'm serious in the fact that everything I posted is fact. Those numbers are the truth.

- He has under 50 yards rushing in exactly 33% of his games played this year.

- He has under 60 yards rushing in 46% of his games played this year.

- He has under 79 yards rushing in 73% of his games played this year.

- He has 83 yards or under in 80% of his games this year.

- He has over 100 yards rushing in only 20% of his games played this year.

None of that is opinion. It is all fact.

You need to watch Lynch to appreciate how good he actually is. Stats really don't tell the story.

The Bills line is HORRIBLE in run blocking and a lot of Lynch's yards come after contact. They will do nothing with Jackson in there, I'd be willing to bet anything on that.

If Lynch played for another team with better run-blocking I honestly think he'd be a pro-bowler.

I don't think Lynch is terrible. And I've seen him play numerous times. He's good, but he's not someone they stand no chance without as was stated.

This year their O-line sucked also they had Losman playing in a hand full of games. Stats sometimes lie but Lynch is a solid running back, If you watch some Jills games you'll see what I'm talking about.

If he doesn't play I don't think the Bills score 10 points in this game. Seriously.

In these kind of conditions the offense would have been built around him.

You were expecting them to score more than this even if he did play? ;)

How you like Freddy Jax now? Lynch has all the power/speed to be a dominant back but he lacks elusiveness and vision.

Not saying Jackson is better, but he's no bum and Lynch is no stud.
